Full Version: DID NVC UPDATE PHONE SYSTEM TODAY?
I called this NVC morning and there was no change in the message from last week. Since then I have sent the I-864 packet and the IV fee bill and payment, I expected to get some message of receipt but with yesterday being a holiday I was wondering if they are just behind. Did anybody get an update today?

the phone is busy today. I've been calling all day.. Did you check your money order status? you can find out if it was cashed or not yet

i just checked and they have not updated mine...i always check in the night.
No updates for us.
I'm not knowledgeable about automated systems updates BUT I'm guessing: maybe is not done automatically maybe a human must hit the button

NVC was closed on Monday, so no changes should be expected on the IVR today (today is like a Monday for them). The IV fee payment processing typically takes 1 week from when NVC received it, so you really shouldn't expect to see it post before Saturday's IVR update (The last IVR update of the week actually happens overnight Friday night/Saturday morning). Same thing for the I-864 packet. It is unfortunate that you mailed these two exactly at the same time, as they could post on the same day and you'll get an IVR message for just one of them. Calling the operators will be necessary to check the IV payment if that happens.
Called the bank, cashiers check not cleared yet. I am not yet taking that as a sign of trouble just delay due to holiday. I may call nvc tomorrow after they have a chance to update system and see what the message is about/I-864 or IV bill. I am sure there will be one of them mentioned

NVC was closed on Monday, so no changes should be expected on the IVR today (today is like a Monday for them).
