I am getting more and more depressed as every day goes by and I have no approval. CSC received my I-130 on July 27th and I have had no touches, no nothing. Even when I call it does not generate a touch. I even contacted my senators and congressman and have not heard from them. I am getting beyond frustrated when I see people who filed the same time I did and got their approval a month ago, or even people who filed after me get their approval. The receipt date on my I-130 is August 10, so does this make me an August filer? Just curious to know who else is in the same boat as me so I don't feel so alone.

AJS,
you are not alone. We are also still waiting. Our congressmen & senators have been enquiring for us, but USCIS doesn't respond to them either. All they say is that we are with an "adjucation officer" but that has been their story since the 27th of Jan...and still nothing. If we do have an RFE, we would like to know to send them the information ASAP, but there is NOTHING!!! This is so frustrating...so many aspects of our lives revolve around this approval, and we have many things on hold becasue of it. Sorry to vent...
So, no, you are not alone. (see our timeline below). -mary

You're not alone, as Mary says above. There are many of us in the same boat. We feel your pain, and of course the worst in all this is the lack of information and the poor treatment from USCIS officers. I have been working with my congressman, and even though his liason has called me and we've talked more than once, it hasn't resulted in any action on my application. I'm on his list, and according to him there are over 100 June filers in Oregon still with no approval. I know that doesn't offer much comfort, but perhaps you'll feel better knowing there are more of us out here waiting with you.
Patience is a virtue. Your approval will come. It's just a matter of time.

I am with you guys.... I am also getting more and more depress about this whole process!!! All I can do it write a letter to someone new almost everyday! Last week I sent 3 off, and today I am writing more... I did get a response from the office of the Vice President stating that his office is looking into to it and that they have done a inquiry on my behalf, let see if that makes a Dent

I am right there with you all. I am getting very depressed about the whole thing. I want to call but am tired of hearing the same old thing from them. I watch and see how everybody is getting approvals and it depresses me even more. I am not mad them them but I do feel a certain jealousy. I just want to be with my wife. Is that too much to ask ?

I'm member as well of this club as well.
my BP level is high equivalent to that of Hypertension1 so trying not to call up USCIS cause it just aggravates my health.

I send them a snail mail on 2/1 and they send me a letter with that reply, it got me excited for about 2 seconds.... I am writing to EVERYONE!! I don't even care who it is, just someone in the Govt (close to the USCIS) to see if someone actually response and does something. I wish I could do that, but the Circumstance are quite different in Lebanon, they might be on the Brink of war

my husband is going to be leaving Lebanon in the next couple of days because of the tension... So you are lucky if you can go and spend time with your spouse....
Best wishes to you too!!

we're right there with you guys...I have to think that they're holding it for the I-129 to do them both at once. My Senator will be making an inquiry next week to check the status.

yeah, my husband and I are in this boat. Our i-130's no1 date is july 13, 2007 and we've got no touches, not anything. We had our i-129f "admistratively cancelled" via my senator's office. He advised this as he thought it might speed up the process of the i-130. It didn't. Strange thing is though that I'm reading that other people are having their i-129f's also "administratively cancelled" by the USCIS automatically because it's become redundant. They are both getting approved around the same time so the initial purpose of filing for the K-3 (getting your spouse to the U.S. quicker) doesn't really apply any longer. I'm sure all of us who are caught up in this mess are paying for it with days (who am I kidding) MONTHS in waiting to start the lives we all deserve with our loved ones. I am actually in Italy with my husband which is a wonderful thing. It's that our life is on hold because we can't find work here and are moving every few months as we find cheeper rentals. Not the way I want to live but I don't want to return to America without him although if it takes much longer, I'll be forced to so I can find a job and replenish our finances. What a strain on the relationship. I just want a nice job, a decent home, and enough in the bank to start a family. Why would my own country make this so hard for me? Why is it that if you fall in love with someone from another country they make you pay such a price?

Well said, I couldn't agree with you more! Our lives are on hold and it is the worst feeling in the world knowing there is nothing you can do about it.

Same situation here. I-130 NOA1 was sent 26-July-2007. Aside from being paired with my 129F on 24-August, there have been no touches other than those resulting from me calling the RFE line. Note that if you call too early in the morning California time you don't actually get the CSC when you call. You get some national help line where all they can see is the same thing you see on the website. These inquiries will NOT result in touches.
I was also advised by the CSC that, like others are saying, 129F's which had the fee waived are being administratively canceled however I could mail in a request to cancel the 129F myself anyway. I'm a little afraid of doing that thinking that they could accidentally cancel both the 129F AND the 130 then I'd really be up the creek without a paddle. I think I'll just wait and see if they do it for me. I'm waiting for USCIS to update their processing times on their website from their January 15th update. You'd think the February 15th update would come out on the 15th, but it'll probably show up around March 1st. Even if you call now in late February, they'll tell you they're currently adjudicating I-130 petitions dated July 15th even though the website says that's the date they were working on over a month ago on January 15th! I think if I don't see anything happen with mine in the next week or so I'm going to have to make an inquiry via my congressman like I see other July filers have done already.

In the same boat too and still waiting... I can feel your pain, especially as someone pointed out when we can see others being approved in sometimes less than 2 months!
Is it just me or does it seem that June/July 2007 files have been having thrown in a hole or something? August applicants are being approuved...Even saw a 31st October applicant being approved 2 weeks ago!
We wrote to everyone we could think of, we get touches all the time, we have 2 senators and 1 congressman on the case... does it help? yes, bits here and there but nothing to jump in the air about!
Hang in there and good luck to you all.

Hang in there guys. I was once a member of this club. It took them 7 months to approve my petition and I remember seeing people get approved in 3 to 5 months. It was very frustrating. There was nothing I could do but congratulate them but there was something inside of me that says.. why is everybody getting approved first. I feel like USCIS are letting people cut in line.
Anyways, this is nobodys fault but USCIS. I came to a conclusion that they just pretend to have some sort of organization.
Just hang in there everyone. You'll get your approvals soon and NVC seems a bit better than USCIS.
