My sweetie pie is almost here with me and I couldn't be happier. We are all set for wedding number 1 here in the states. We are planning a second wedding later in the year since both families can't fly to one location. I assume Advanced Parole would be our best option so she can return to prepare for the wedding there ahead of me. She would like to travel ahead of me 2 months before the second wedding to prepare everything. Does anyone know how long the Advance parole gives a person and is this the best course of action to take? Anyone have a similar situation where they needed to travel back home a few month after arriving?

AP is valid for 1 year, and takes around 90 days to get after you file the I-131. AP needs to be filed for when you file I-485 or after you file the I-485.
