Good evening to everyone, I am hoping someone can share their opinions of labs for DNA testing. My husband was never married to the mother of his children and we received an RFE for his daughter's petition, wanting blood tests. She lives with her mother in the Trelawny cockpits and I would rather her not have to travel to the embassy as this stage of the game. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this in Jamaica, and specifically with Fairfax Identity Labs. They claim to have draw site in Montego Bay, which would be much less travel time for her.
Thank you for any contributions.

Check your PM....the embassy did send me a list of approved places, a few years ago by email, but I don't for the life of me know where it is. You might try emailing them.

Well, I'd say "welcome" but they been here longer then me.

Has it taken you since 2004 on your K-1?

Hey Brnskn......if you have some info. that is postable in public, would you? I'm sure there have been those before you and there will be those well after who will come looking for the same information. Clueless ones like me will be of no help.

Thank you for the link! I got an email back from the embassy today, stating that Fairfax is okay, too.
I have to update my profile, his K-1 was done in 7 months back in 2000/2001. He has his 10 year card and is considering filing for citizenship.

Do any of you know what information I need to give to the embassy to have them send packets 3 and 4 for a K2 follow to join? I'm referring to case number information that will help them identify the case.

Maybe I'm thinking wrong, but when contacting the embassy during the K1 process to ask about packets 3 and 4 I needed to give them the NVC case number so they knew who I was referring to and the address to send the packets. Is there any identifying number or anything that I would need to give them for the K2?
