I submitted my application for U.S Citizen and got a letter from USCIS to get my fingerprint done. I live in TX, so the office I am going to is in Fort Worth, TX. However, the letter states that my appointment is on SATURDAY at 9.00 AM. I am wondering if the USCIS office is open on Sat. It's very odd to me that the government office is open during the weekend. I don't have any info with me right now, so I can't call and check. However, if any of you got your fingerprint done on Sat before, please let me know. Thanks!!

Yes they do Saturday hours, there have been several posts of biometrics on Saturdays.

They tend to schedule all appointments for the same time, when the office opens, so 9AM is fine, all they do is fingerprint and picture, first come first served.

I had my fingerprint appointment at 8:00 a.m. and I arrived at 7:45 a.m. I was number 16 in line. Everybody's appointment was at 8:00 a.m., and it's a first come first serve basis. They don't let you in much before the actual appointment time, though.
