I have my fiance' called USCIS and nobody answers him except the machine. I just got him the toll number provided at the websit though. Anybody here knows what number to dial to be able to speak with people from the USCIS? Your help would be soooo appreciated! Thanks!

May be getting automated system today do to the fact today is a national holiday "President's Day".

The 800 number provided on USCIS website is the national customer service number.

What is your immigrations status? How long ago did your file a petition? What are you calling USCIS for? (Visa, Adjustment of status, Lifting conditions?)

Fill in your profile details, "N/A" does not help us. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...rCP&CODE=01

Then again Please fill in profile details and do your timeline, without this info provided it makes your situation hard to understand, you posted this under USCIS Service Centers, USCIS handles all visa petitions (K-Visas, and CR-1/IR-1), and Adjustment of Status, and Removal of conditions, EAD applications, AP applications, etc..

When you do not fill out details and timeline, it is anyone's guess as to what your question is relating to especially where you you posted this to, no-one can read your mind. Your profiles says Filed for N/A, and you do not have a timeline.

I've called the customer service number and spent what seemed like forever going through all the options of the voice system and eventually I got an option "press 'whatever' to speak to a customer service rep....." I don't know what the secret combination was, and I went through different menus each time, but I finally got to a real person. I get the impression they don't really want to speak live.

That is my two cents.
