Hi everybody, I am a little puzzled about a notification I received today. The letter says that due to pending I751, my husband needs to come with me to the interview. Is this normal when processing an N400 with a pending I751? Do you think the reason my I751 has been pending since July of 06 is because USCIS has some doubts about my marriage? I thought our case was pretty straight forward. Any comments will be appreciated.Thanks.

If you had been called to an interview for your I-751, your husband would need to come (like he did for your AOS interview, if you had one), so that is not an abnormal request.

Why your case has been pending since July '06 -- well, that's anyone's guess. They seem to be taking their time with a lot of peoples' petitions.

Can you please give us an overview of your interview experience? What were the questions they asked? How long did it take? Did they give you a hard time?
