Might seem like a dumb question, but I will need to renew my wife's drivers permit. I'm afraid the person at the DMV will use the notice date thereby extending my wife's permit only 10 months instead of 12. Has anyone had the experince of renewing a perimit or lisecen using your NOA as evidnece for the extention?

I might be concerned over nothing. I am probably not the only person whos husband/wife had to use NOA for extension of driving privileges. Most likely the DMV has seen this situation before and know exactly what to do.

From what I've read and understood here, it extends your GC status from the date of expiry on the GC.
