We sent my wife's I-751 petition to the Nebraska Service Center last week via Priority Mail with tracking. A few days later I checked the progress of the package and saw that it had been delivered to the NCS. This morning, while checking my bank account online, I observed that the $545 check had been paid. But...I noticed that the endorcement on the back of the check read "California Service Center." Does anyone know if all checks to the USCIS for I-751 processing go into the same account? Or was our case transfered to the CSC?

Thanks.

Your case was more in likely transferred to the California Service Center due to the back log at the Nebraska Office. You should be hearing soon about your biometrics and that notice will come from the California office too. Hopefully it moves quickly for you.

The NSC cases are being transferred to CSC. Don't worry, ours was transfered and we had biometrics one month after filing

Be VERY happy your wife's application was moved to CSC, and is not at NSC! I hope things move quickly for her. rose.gif

Got our biometrics appointment letter in the mail today.

According to the USCIS website, the CSC is processing applications from last August. Hopefully ours will move through the system in a timely manner.

Luck to all.

Checked the USCIS website today just for jollies....didn't expect to find anything new. Much to my surprise, I got the message that my wife's card had been ordered and that she should receive it within 30 days.

It's been less that three months since we applied. Thankfully, we were one of the lucky ones.

Congratulations!!!

It seems like I am going through similar timeline as you did. I mailed my papers to Nebraska but the responses indicated it was coming from California. In fact, I filed mine about a week after you did (NOA receipt was 02/22) so I am hoping that any day now I'd get my approval email.

I desperately need the card too, to accept a job offer. I tried to get an I-551 stamp but the immigration officer turned me away. She provided me with an 1-800 number for the employer to call. She said the the employer must accept the expired greencard and the NOA as proof of employment eligibility. I asked her if this is by law and she said yes. The immigration office should really hire more qualified people.

Card came in the mail today. Less than 3 months from application to receipt. Given some of the horror stories on here, I feel like the immigration gods have smiled on us.

oh... I was looking for a post like this one. We mailed in package to NSC on the 2nd, they received it the 3rd. The 8th my son received his extension letter (which looks different from mine). Yesterday I received my extension letter (or NOA1) dated 5/8 and it also came from the CSC. I figured it took a while for my checks to be cashed, but I guess the time delay came from the transfer. So far, God has been good to us on this journey, I hope it will continue to be so.

A little update Filed in April 2007, had my fingerprints done in May 07, then nothing at Nebraska.... Like a tumbleweed blowing across the screen.. then today I get a email saying that I've been transfered to CSC.

How much longer do we think before I get my card? LOL my case is pretty stright forward, been with my wife for 12years (IM a UK citizen) Moved to the states 4 years ago and have a almost 10 year old kid.

/plays waiting game some more.

I just checked CSC Processing time its October 2007, does that mean that I will be processed right away, or go to the back of the queue sad.gif

hello cis120,

we got transferred to CSC immediately after we filed in Dec (see our timeline below)....

it seems we are in some forgotten pile as the CSC is taking in all the old NSC cases from last year and immediately processing them....

from the timeline of other old NSC filers, it appears you should be done within a month or less
