TFS. it was very interesting. WTG, Wendy and GL.
Funny, an American can, say, take a trip to Vegas, meet someone at a card table and get married an hour later. No questions asked, no proof of marriage validity needed, no interference.

No problem. I just happened to tune into NPR on Sirus and caught half of it. Was already aware of her through the Washington Post story and several postings on this site. Yes the comments left by some subscribers to the Post are rude, but hey what do you expect in this day and age?

Its not propaganda. They do have a bit more integrity than the corporate networks - though, like them, they are subject to the same sort of oversight as the rest of the media.

I thought it was reasonably balanced, though I always find myself wishing they'd note that not every international couple fits the first-world/high fraud impoverished nation paradigm. And that there wasn't as much focus on 'this is unfair because others had their citizenship applications and EADs approved', because all immigrants end up in the same boat.

excellent interview .............. i understand evertything............. but i also feel that they do a lot of oppression on true couples .............. i understand the effect of bad people is coming on goods.BUt long backlog and FBI background checks and the process can really be improved.

What a wonderful interview. I am thankful to finally find a place where I know when I type something. There is someone out there who has gone through/is going through/or will go through what I am going through now. Thanks VisaJourney.

It was a great interview.
I hope the fact she is willing to move to Albania to be with her fiance is taken into account in her appeal.
I would like to think that people would get interested in how broken the visa process is and how badly it reflects American in the eyes of other countries. However, it's not a particularly sensational or entertaining subject and will probably die as a 'news' story.
