hey, Bailey, there's no other fee for the waiver. Fingerprints are included in the 265. Man, it's getting close for you guys - only a few more weeks! Are you nervous? I sure was, even though I knew what was coming.

Jpkeswim, unbelievable how easy that was! Wish it were that easy here, too! I hope all goes well for you. This has got to be difficult for you both, but I admire your positive go-forward attitude. You'll get there. Who knows? It could be the adventure of your life. Good luck with the whole driving thing. That just frankly frightens me to think of trying to drive on the wrong side of the road. tongue.gif Glad it's him, not me. He'll do much better than I.

Meanwhile, we're rounding the corner on week six. Amazing! Gosh, I wonder what I'll be counting down when he finally gets here? biggrin.gif I may feel lost and begin to count down to random things, like how many more days until my next haircut. tongue_ss.gif

Regarding the fee's,

at my visa interview in Copenhagen I had to pay:

Visa *even though denied, still had to pay * $380
for the I-601 $265
for the fingerprints $ 90

Yup, my wallet felt very light when I left.......I had to drive almost 2 hours to get there, and had to wait around like 2-3 hours for the fingerprints - after the interview - before I could leave.

With the new immigration reform that says that one has to pay a fine of $2000 to waive the 3/10 yr ban, that is a lot of money on top of what we have already paid - I hope that we all get approved before we have to pay the fine.
cmltdg
Beetee, that's a lot of money!! Why did you have to pay for the fingerprints? That really stinks. However, I don't think the $2,000 will come into play for us. I don't even know if that will become part of the law. Having said that, if I could pay $2,000 and know for sure he could come over now, I would find the money somewhere!!

By the way, has anyone checked the USCIS online tracking and seen that they have completed one of their cases? I was hoping for "status," they'd put "approved" or "denied" instead of "complete." Oh, well, nothing about this has been the way I wanted, right? sad.gif
Are you on the list yet, Beetee?

Have a good day,
Tiff

Well I got my UK visa now.....i wish the US process was as simple. Had a appointment for 10:30 in Chicago

yep....its easy to get a visa for the uk! i also wished the us goverment had a little more common sense..but the don't! congrats and welcome to the uk... good.gif
beetee4ever
Hi Tiff,

Yup, I checked it again today - couldn't help myself tongue.gif Yeah, someone from Stockholm must be pretty happy by now. It's okay by me that they only write "complete", no need to air anyones laundry... he he.

No, still not on the list cray5ol.gif that is just cruel........... *sigh*.

It's nice that they update it almost on a daily basis, they have made small changes every time I check he he..nice.

Yeah, regarding the new imm. reform, I bet we are all approved and settled in the US by that time, so you are right, Tiff, might not need to worry about the $2000 extra. Even though, if they offered me that tomorrow for a Visa, I'd take the deal tongue.gif

Yeah, all that money for the visa interview- ouch, that was painfull - everyone has to pay for fingerprints right?
wendibob
hi,

No, they took my fingerprints for free. I can't believe they charged for that!
beetee4ever
Wendi&Bob,

No way, FOR FREE !!!! I can't believe those moneysuckers at my embassy ranting33va.gif $90 and several hours of waiting ranting33va.gif

And I'm not even on the list yet........ I could just headbonk.gif them all at the embassy. With all those fee's they could at least rush fed ex my waiver to London or something, instead of taking my money and ignoring my emails.............bummer

Hello

Hope everyone is having a great good friday. We had some nasty storms last night and my lights went out about 4 am and didn't come back until after noon today. Pretty much spoiled all my plans for my day off. mad.gif It hailed so much it sounded like the windows were going to shatter. I sat straight up out of a dead sleep and about peed my pants. laughing.gif Now they are putting up warnings again. Come on enough is enough already. wink.gif

Thanks for the answers. I didn't think he had to pay for fingerprinting in London but I wasn't sure. We aren't getting too nervous yet. I think I'm in denial right now. I keep telling myself it will either be approved or not. Not much I can do about it but wait and see. Ask me the day before he goes to his interview and I will probably be re writing the whole hardship letter. I think no matter what it never seems "good enough" and I will always wonder if I could do a better job. I finally just had to make myself be ok with what I had and stop messing with it.
That stinks beetee that you had to pay those extra fees. If it isn't already hard enough to pay for everything. I was suppose to send Chris the money for the waiver but now things have come up and "someone" decided to stop paying child support so now I don't have any extra money. He always tells me not to worry about it but I hate not being able to help out. He laughs and tells me I will have to take care of him for a few months when he comes over so he thinks i'm doing my part.

Everyone have a great Easter.
Thanks again,
Baileyj

Bailey,

no that's it, no extra fees for the fingerprints... although give it some time and they'll probably charge for that aswell!!! laughing.gif

Hope everyone is well, Rob sorry to hear about all that messing around mate, they really test your patience don't they?

and the clock keeps ticking for me.... Tiff, today I'm finding it difficult, I know the time's going by quickly but it still feels like an eternity until we hear something! sad.gif

oh well I'm sure tomorrow will be better

I know what you mean, Paul. I can see time ticking away for us, yet some days it seems so far away and impossible. I try to be positive in thinking that we will be approved, but somewhere in the back of my mind is the niggling voice of "what if." However, this is but a small moment in time in the adventure that is our life and something that we can deal with. Heck, on Monday is six weeks already!
Do you ever read posts on here from people who are going through, say, Vermont and are whining and complaining because it's been two weeks and they haven't heard anything? Or in the time it took our petition to just get through Nebraska, they've got their visa and are here? Man, they're soooo lucky!
Tomorrow will be better! yes.gif

Baileyj96
Hello again. Just can't seem to stop reading vj. laughing.gif Yeah cmltdg it's hard to read people complaining about how everything takes so long. I think they don't do their research before they file to see how long things may or may not take. I was on here for months before we we able to actually file in Nebraska and was expecting things to take a lot longer than it has. I can't complain a bit because our I-129 only took 45 days to get approved. I think it was due to the time of year we filed. I think more people file in the spring than in the fall. (just my thought) I about went nuts waiting until November to file but that was what we planned and agreed on so we stuck with it. We are trying to do this at our pace and how we planned everything but it's getting hard now. Only a few more weeks until we get to the interview and It's starting to get to me. I know we have several months to go and right now we are planning on October for him to come but if or when we get the waiver approved October might have to be re negotiated. tongue.gif Heck I think we are one of the "older" couples on here so we need to get this over and done with as soon as possible. laughing.gif We aren't getting any younger. We tease each other about having walker races and sitting on the porch in our rocking chairs poking each other with our canes. ha ha ha

Hang in there guys. I'm sure you don't have much longer to wait and we will all be here ready to celebrate with you when you get the good news. Nothing better than seeing and feeling the excitement when someone fially gets that big fat approval.

Chin up Beetee,

people in here can give you as much support as possible, I found it really helps when you feel down and times get hard, and there will be a few of them before (fingers crossed) we are all approved.

Look at Misty B's timeline, I'm sure she had to go through a similar process with submitting her waiver via stockholm and then waiting for it to be sent to London. A plus side of this method was that she didn't have to wait the 12-15 weeks from when London received it, I think it was only four weeks from then?? (not sure)

anyway, if you're feeling down, and you want to type, we're all here for you!

good.gif

Hi guys..

Well my waiver sat in Denmark for 2 long months and I really have no idea why. They said they were trying to do alot of work on it before it got sent to London and also that they were waiting on something (I suspect it had something to do with the fingerprints or the A-File but I am not 100% sure of that)...anyway it sat for two months. It got sent to London on Dec. 15th, they received at DHS on Jan. 3rd and it was adjudicated by the 25th. I suspect it was decided before Sweden called me though so it was around 3 weeks. I believe they go by filing date.

Beetee I would try to call the ICE office. The embassy probably has no idea what is going on.

Try this phone number....+45 35 55 66 91..I think that is the right number..I dont have access to the phone numbers I had when I was over there..at worst it's a fax number. They will answer faxes much faster.
beetee4ever
Hi guys and gals,

hope everyone had a great Easter luv.gif

Guess we are all still waiting huh. Anything new?? I saw that Stockholm got approved or completed their case, it only took them around 2 months right? they submitted theirs 2/7/2006 and it was completed 4/6/06 - I hope that it only takes 2 months for all of us tongue.gif

Well, I got a reply from the Copenhagen embassy, they have not yet sent my waiver to London...gosh, I submitted it almost a month ago - hopefully they'll bump me up at London...you know, so I can be in line right after Tiff tongue.gif he he

I was actually thinking that summer is coming up, and that means higher airfare.... I think that the prices are the same from Copenhagen and London, or am I wrong? The tickets to the US can cost around $1200 *at the cheapest * and up around summer. *Sigh*, as if it wasn't enough with all the money we have paid so far, now the ticket is going to cost a lot too. Is it possible for you guys in London to buy a oneway ticket? You can not buy that from Denmark, I have to buy a roundtrip ticket - which is more expensive, such a ripoff mad.gif

Anyways... just yapping, lol tongue.gif Enjoy your Thursday everybody...
cmltdg

Hey, Beetee, thanks! I did have a great Easter. full of food and family fun. It's been quiet around here lately, hasn't it? I guess we're all trying to pass the time constructively -- at least I am -- and not obsess too much. I can't believe they haven't sent your file to London yet. I know Misty waited quite a while for hers to be sent, but then not too much longer after that. I hope that's the case for you.
We've also been looking at plane tickets. On Aerfungus -- I mean, Aerlingus biggrin.gif we can get a one-way ticket that's actually only around 250 euros, so I think that's what we're going to do. It does get so expensive in the summer, doesn't it?

Anyway, I hope you all are doing well. Big moving month coming up for Jpkeswim, yeah? Good luck!

Tiff
beetee4ever
Hi Tiff,

Great to hear that you had a great Easter smile.gif
Aerfungus.....lol biggrin.gif 250 Euro, wow, that is cheap - so you guys can buy one way tickets from London?? I don't understand why that is not doable from Denmark. 250 Euro, what is that...around $300?? you have got to be kidding me? I have to pay around $1200 wacko.gif Maybe I should fly from London instead, but then again... it'll cost me just as much to fly to London and I also have to buy a roundtrip too ha ha, so stupid sad.gif but...as my husband says, it'll be a small price for us to be together, so I just have to make peace with it and move on ...he he, guess someone is thinking more straight than the other during this imm. process luv.gif

Yea, they are working pretty fast at the embassy in Copenhagen, esp. when you think of all the cases they have rolleyes.gif All the times I went there, there was so quiet...maybe 2 or 3 people, and that's it - I wonder what the h the do with their time overthere. MistyB tried to comfort me and told me the same as you Tiff, that if I'm lucky mine will be like hers - so that's some positive news biggrin.gif

Did you guys see all the cases on the London tracking site....wow, I hope that it doesn't slow down the process sad.gif

Anyways, enjoy your weekend people biggrin.gif let us all know, if there's anything new.
Baileyj96
tongue_ss.gif Hey where is everyone hiding? If it's on a nice sandy beach somewhere ..........can i come too?

cool.gif Baileyj
cmltdg
Hey, Bailey, I was wondering that same thing! I wish I was on a sandy beach somewhere, but alas, just working and stressing! How is everyone else doing? We're a bit of a quiet bunch lately, it seems.
I'm still counting the days, but not as obsessively. I'll only really start to freak when our case says, "under review" on the tracking list! Next week is your interview. How are you guys feeling about it? At least finally you're moving forward, right? Good luck, and I'll be thinking good thoughts for you.
Tiff
Baileyj96
biggrin.gif Aww a live person............he he

I guess everyone is just trying to chill out and relaxe a little. Yeah I wish I could win the lotto and just buy us all an island. We could all live there and I wouldn't require immigration. wink.gif Yep next week he will be going to the embassy. I guess we are both just wanting to get it over with. Just get the dang thing filed already. Every time I look at the online I-601 list it seems to get longer and longer. Nobody is getting nervouse yet but I have had little bouts with wondering if the hardship letter is good enough though. I can't do that but I wonder once in a while.

Oh I will be waiting on you to come on here and scream that your under review.................. We can have a big party and maybe I can even whip up a few cupcakes. It seems like once it goes under review it's been taking about a week to process. I'll be so jelouse of you when you guys get to that point. I'm sure by the time we get there you guy will be stressing and trying to figure out the AOS. lol

Well my guy should be on here soon. better run

I'll be watching

Hi all biggrin.gif

Wow, the weather has been great these past days - no sandy beaches though... tongue_ss.gif Hope you guys has had sunny weather too.

Nothing new from Denmark..
I can't believe that I'm still not on the list cray5ol.gif I thought that it would be added on this week ..... bummer. I wanted to do other things and put it in the back of my mind, lol, but I can't - not before I'm on the list .... I'm so weak blush.gif

Wow, with all those cases on the list, I wonder how they can keep their estimated 12-15 weeks?? how often do they update the list - anyone knows???

Oh well, hope you are all doing well luv.gif and good luck with the upcoming interview Bailey biggrin.gif
Baileyj96
Hi beetee,

Oh yeah it's been great weather here too. We were almost to 80 degrees over the weekend but it's cooled back off to about 60 today. Thanks for the well wishes on the interview. He seems to be doing ok but he will probably be a wreck the night before. I think we are about as ready as we will ever be. I keep wondering if we have forgotten anything. I'm glad it's not me going or I would probably need medication. lol I probably won't hear from him about the whole thing until Saturday the 6th after he gets home so I'll probably post what he tells me about it then. He's not much on giving details but I'll tell as much as he does. laughing.gif

Oh I hope your case gets put on there soon. I'll keep watching for you. I usually check it in the mornings to see if they have made any progress. (i'm already looking and i know ours isn't on there laughing.gif ) I'm not positive but seems to me Friday is the day they add case numbers. I might be wrong on that one. I haven't really tried to keep track of it. I know what you mean about "all" of those cases that are on there. Every time they add another one I say a bad word. whistling.gif Keep thinking there's another one in front of us. laughing.gif Maybe the more they get the faster they will go. Ok I can dream can't I? Hang in there and I hope you don't stress too much. Will be watching for you to post a WHOO HOO as soon as your case number is on there. I'll put some sprinkles on those cupcakes for the occasion. kicking.gif

oh and sorry for the last post. boy i need to remember to use spell check. lol

Best wishes,
Baileyj
cmltdg
Beetee, I can't believe you're not on the list yet!! Talk about slow torture! I know what you mean about all those cases on the list. I can't believe they're ever going to get to us. There are like six cases between ours and the "under review" London one, and we're coming up on our 8th week on Monday! How's that going to work? Now I'm all worked up again! laughing.gif Okay. sitting back down in my little office chair. Calm, soothing thoughts ... Okay. I'm back. No worries! It will all work out.
I know what you mean about the beautiful weather. It's that way here too. Me and me mum (as Caspian says) trekked on over to the Home Depot to check out the flowers and plants. I'm just itching to buy some, but really can't until middle of May. Too cold at night here still. I love spring! kicking.gif
Well, you guys have a good day!

Hi guys,

so great to hear that everyone is doing fine biggrin.gif

Bailey,,

80 degrees...wow, nice! I'm so jealous - I don't think that it's that hot overhere, I would guess max 60 degrees sad.gif I just love the warm and sunny weather luv.gif

Tiff,

you're just like my mom, the slightest bit of sunshine, and she is off to buy flowers - I love flowers too, but I'm not too eager about the planting and stuff - rather just see the result biggrin.gif

I couldn't help myself, I had to check today again........ no update sad.gif I'd be sooo happy once I get on the list. I totally understand you Bailey, I get kinda sad when I see too many cases on the list, I know that it would just mean that it will take longer for me - and you too wink.gif

I thought that since I submitted my waiver in March, I'd figure that it would be around June I'd be done..... yeah right, it doesn't really look like it..now I'm thinking, if I'm lucky it will be around August or so sad.gif just the thought of it makes me soo sad cray5ol.gif I just miss my husband so much...

Oh well, hope you guys have a nice day - let me know if there's any update, okies luv.gif
Baileyj96
biggrin.gif Thought i would bump this one back up. We are slipping fast here. laughing.gif

In the mean time I'm going nuts wondering what is going on over there in London. lol I can't help it I'm not patient and I'm nosey. laughing.gif I told him I could wait until he got home tonight but now I'm kicking myself for telling him that. Oh well maybe he will surprise me and send me a note before then.

Thanks for all the well wishes.

Thanks, Bailey! I was thinking we should be reviving this thread. It just sits here so sad with nobody posting on it! I know what you mean. I told Cas that he should just wait to tell me what happened until he got home, and I was also kicking myself! Waiting it sooooo hard!!! This has truly been a test of my patience. We're at nine weeks on Monday and I just can't believe I've been able to wait that long. I guess I chock it up to the older I get, the faster time flies!! biggrin.gif We'll be waiting to hear from you.

Hi all.

Just got a short little update. He called his other sister and had her email me. He said things went well and that He did have to file the waiver . He said they were very positive about it and they told him is should be around 8 weeks. HA HA HA to the 8 weeks. Great to hear that it went well for him Bailey-or should I say Vicky, pls let me know smile.gif
8 weeks you say, well that's wonderful to hear, I'm just going to fool myself into believing that tongue.gif I was told at the Copenhagen embassy that they had changed the procedure for the I-601 waiver, meaning that there was now a whole group of people that ONLY takes care of processing them, when usually in Copenhagen there was only 1 person - I don't know if that's such a major change but it does sound good that there's a bunch of people handling the I-601 waivers, perhaps that's why we see more cases "under review" at one time. smile.gif

Have a great day all luv.gif

hi beetee,

You can call me either one. It just seems so silly using baileyj when my name is Vicky. lol Didn't think much of it when i picked out a user name on here.
Well I'm not getting too excited about the 8 week thing. I think it's still saying 12 to 15 on the list so I'm thinking that will closer to reality.

Now I'm going to be obsessing on when we make the waiver list. laughing.gif

See ya,

Vicky, I'm soooo glad things went well. It's almost easier to handle when you know what's coming and can prepare mentally for it. Eight weeks, huh? That's hilarious!!! I truly hope it turns out to be only eight weeks for you guys. We're starting into week nine on Monday. Maybe this is our week for "under review," huh? My curious mind is DYING to know what goes on with the processing of these waivers! Why the two London cases that went under review at the same time and only the one is now completed? What's that about? I know I could really make myself crazy over it, so I'll just stop right there. Here's hoping you make yourself speedily to "the list"!!
Have a great weekend, all.

Baileyj96
Hi everyone.

Well it was late but I finally got to talk with him. Oh my he was so very tired so I tried not to keep him on too long. Well he said it was ok with him if i passed on his experience so I'll try my best to pass along how he explained it to me.

First off he said he went in about 10 am. He did say he saw the ZZ top guy outside. He said he kind of snickered when he saw him. He pulled his number and was called up in about 10 minutes to turn in his paperwork. He said they only took the affidavit of support and none of the supporting documents. No pay stubs or tax forms. They told him they were not needed. He was told to sit again and he said it took about 30 minutes for them to call him back up to the window. He said she looked over all the paperwork and just said that he was going to need a waiver. She did say it was good that he had already been approved for the travel visa waiver. She told him to go sit down again and wait for someone to go over the waiver procedure with him. He said this was the longest wait. Took about an hour then finally they called him back up to the window. There were two working together. One man and one woman. One was going through the paperwork and the other was asking him questions. He did say they were very nice and put him at ease. He said the woman ask him how we met at first and when we met in person for the first time. He told her we met online and she ask him what chat room because she was making her own personal list of the chat rooms. (she was making a funny). lol
They said they liked the way we had done our own waiver. (now people using lawyers for this ....don't get shook up but ) they said that the USCIS doesn't like when people use lawyers to write their letters and they much prefer it when people write their own. They didn't take all of our documentation. They took the Doctor letters and other attachments but did not want the articles I had printed off the internet. She told him they were not necessary. (kind of worried me a bit) Said it was very good that it had been almost 25 years since his crimes and that they thought he had a very good chance.
They did not keep his passport/visa. They said they did not keep these anymore if it was going to be any length of time before the K-1 visa was issued. They did not want to take the chance of it getting lost. They said if the K-1 visa was approved they would send a courier to pick it up and deliver it back to London and then send the new visa back the same way.

He said they made him feel very much at ease. Everyone he dealt with was very nice. (not rude like belfast) They told him he would get a post card from the sub office with our waiver info on it. They didn't know how long that would take. Said that the waiver usually takes about 8 weeks but probably longer. (we already knew this) lol

He also said that they were not very busy today. There were only about 10 people there and most of them were getting travel visa. Mentioned he did over hear one man had not filled out some of his paperwork correct so they told him when he sorted it out to come back another time. All in all he was there about 2 1/2 hours.

So sorry if this is messed up. I'm sooooooooooooo tired.

Thanks again everyone for all the well wishes. Everything seemed to be positive and we are just glad to get this over with. Now the waiting begins.........................scoot over fellow wavier filers........we are joining the troops. good.gif

Hi Bailey.... I mean Vicky!!

thanks for typing all that, you sounded so tired....I'm sure it's really appreciated by all the people on here. I'm glad your hubby didn't have to wait too long and that the guys were supportive in London. They are a nice bunch of people, I found.. However I wasn't too happy on waiting from 10.30 in the morning (when the original forms were handed in) until 4 pm in the afternoon to actually HAVE my interview!!! sad.gif

they were the longest hours in my life, and you feel that you just can't relax incase they call your number or it comes up on the big tv screens!! it's really torturous!!

Still now that's all over you can sit back and just reading.gif (relax!!!) lol yeah right eh? You'll just become an ever bigger I-601 tracker!!!! and all that ClockWatch2.gif will make you go a little headbonk.gif !!!

still your in good company here!

I echo Tiff's comments, 9 weeks this Tuesday for me, how have we done it Tiff??? that's a looooongg wait!! still looking back it doesn't seem so bad.... the best advice for everyone is to keep yourself busy and the time should go quick!

It's nice to see this thread back up and running, I feel partly responsible for the other one! still at least we have this feature eh?? and we're pretty lucky to be able to just click on a link and see the most up-to-date posting of the waivers!

ok guys great to here from you all on here, I'll leave it here. I always post early cos I'm 5-8 hours ahead of the USC's on here!! I'll try and come back on tomorrow

Vicky, that sounds about right. I'm so glad that part is over for you guys. Like Paul said, now you can get down to the waiting! I really don't know how we've done it so far, except I've been really busy at work and so has he! Although, his internet was down for about a week this last week and I realized how much of a difference that makes! I missed seeing him sooooo much! It's been way too long since we've been together -- eight months this month. When he finally gets here, it's going to be a BIG adjustment period!! But I'm definitely up for it, let me tell you! I hope it takes way less time for DHS to get your file and put you on the list. You'd think they would be able to work that a little faster. Anyway, officially welcome to the waiting, very happy to have another with us. I can't tell you how much easier this whole waiting thing is knowing you all are going through it too! So thanks.
Well, I'm off to clean out my closets in anticipation of having to make some space for a certain someone. biggrin.gif

Hello again.

Yeah I think I'm ok with the waiting. (or so i think) I think I've had lots of practice so far. We usually end up only seeing each other every 6 months or so anyway. I went over in March to see him so hopefully that will keep us going over the summer. We look at it as giving us a little more time to get situated and save some more $$$ up before he comes. I've been buying his coffee and things and putting them up in the cabinet. If there is ever a coffee shortage this summer you guys know where to come. laughing.gif I can't stand it so I won't be needing it. I'm going to look for some more space to put his things too. Cleaning out closets and getting rid of a few things. Good luck with that cmltdg. You might even find a few things to have a yard sale. wink.gif Oh and I also have to figure out where and when we are getting married when he comes so that should keep me busy also. I want someting small and itimate but I want a few friends and family too. Where do you draw the line though. You ask one person and then worry about making someone else mad for not asking them. Might just elope and do it the easy way. At least I have some time to figure that one out. My other "BIG" project is going on a diet again. ohmy.gif At least I have a few months to work on that too. I'm going to give weight watchers another try. I've done it before and had some luck with it. It seems to be easier for me to follow that other ones. Have a few people at work who are gonig to have a go at it with me. That will help some too I'm sure.

It sounds like they were a lot more busy when you were there Paul. I think he would have went crazy if he had to wait for 4 hours . jeez I would have had my fingers chewed to the bone by then. That seems like cruel and unusual punishment. He must have just hit them on a slow day. He said there were not very many there getting immigrant visa's . More getting travel visa's . He did say that the poor guy who's paperwork was messed up was going for an immigrant visa. Hope he didn't have to travel too far since he has to go back. He must have not know about VJ. good.gif

Oh I did want to ask one question. For some reason I was under the impression that they issued a new number when you filed for a waiver. (don't know where I got that idea) Is you original LDN number the one they use on the waiver list? I think I misread or confused myself and thought that they issued another number when they sent the post card. wacko.gif He's not wondering about the supporting documents that they would not take. It was mostly just the articles I had printed off the internet supporting some of the facts that I wrote in my letter. He wants to mail them back in to them but I'm not sure if that is a good idea or not. What do you guys think?

Well I need to get busy. Talk to you guys real soon and have a good weekend,
Vicky

Hi all, sounds like everyone is doing well good.gif

Great to hear about the interview Vicky, sounds like it went just fine smile.gif Hmm, I wonder why they didn't take the articles you had printed out from the internet *supporting documents* I had lots of those too, and they took the whole thing at the interview. How would they even know what to take out, did they read the Hardshipletter right there?? I just don't get it huh.gif
I'm sorry, I don't want to upset you....I guess your hardshipletter was too good that's why they wont need it good.gif they know what they are doing smile.gif

Welcome to the waiting room tongue.gif Even though some of us are leaving the waiting area soon, I hope that you guys get the Visas this May smile.gif

Baileyj96
well i meant to say that he "is" a little concerned about them not keeping the supporting documents. He thinks he might post them over this week sometime. I told him it was his call on that one. They did read through the waiver letters but I really doubt the reason they didn't need the documents was because it was sooooo good. laughing.gif

I'm not too worried about anything at the moment. Maybe I'm being nieve but I think we have a pretty good chance. Have to have that postive attitude. good.gif

See ya,
Vicky
sharky
Good idea Vicky,

keep with that positive attitude!! that's what we all want in here! I must admit we did all seem to fall in to a "despair and negativity" frame of mind when poor Mary and Jpkeswim were BOTH denied in a matter of weeks!!

In my opinion I wouldn't worry too much in sending those extra docs through in the mail to be honest. I guess if they would have been needed they would have taken them. It's so easy to think "but they might be the docs that make the difference etc." and every little detail counts, but the whole thing really comes down to the hardship letters. We also included some print outs from the internet to support one less important argument, but I just guess if you really feel that your main argument is strong... then you should be ok.

Don't forget London had a really good pass rate, imagine if we were all submitting in Rome, there's is only 50% sad.gif

Also Vicky your original case number is the one that will go on the board so keep an eye out for it!

I don't know about all you I-601 tracker junkies out there but I was a little dissappointed that nothing has been updated since May the 3rd!!! I hope next week the guys in London will get a move on and get some more cases under review, prefereably mine and Tiff's!!! biggrin.gif

2 months today since our waiver was filed!! cool.gif come on London, give us that golden APPROVED that we so desperately want!!! tongue.gif
beetee4ever
Hi everybody smile.gif

Hope everyone had a great weekend, it's getting hot here in Denmark...how about at your place??

I checked the tracking again, and nothing new sad.gif

I'm going crazy here, I got 2 missed calls from the same number again, couldn't see the cellphone, because I'm not allowed to take it with me, and when I got off ... there it was again, that magic London phone number. I have a international calling card, but when I call someone picks it up but there's no sound what so ever... aahhhh I'm going crazy, wondering what it is about wacko.gif Just waiting for them to call again ClockWatch2.gif I'd wish they call me so I can at least sleep well tonight... *sigh* sad.gif Has any of you had anyone from the London office call you?? can you tell me the number, so I can compare ( this number is +442072786362 )

Oh well, nothing new from my side of town, how about you guys?? There are lots of approvals from the site I2U almost 1 every day for a week or two so far, seems like they are happier in the summertime and approve everyone, lol tongue.gif

cmltdg
Beetee, that must be maddening! Maybe you could email the DHS office and inquire that way. Maybe they will send you an email back with whatever they're trying to get ahold of you for. The email address I used is london.uscis@dhs.gov. Who knows? You may get a faster reply.

It's getting hotter here as well, although rain in the afternoon is pretty standard. This weekend I'm finally going to make a run to Home Depot and get me some flowers!!! It's planting time! Nothing else new, just waiting and waiting and waiting. I will admit it's making me a bit tied in knots and sort of sick the closer the time gets to being under review. Hoping tomorrow that the list will be updated, with good news for Paul and I!

Have a great day everyone!
Tiff
Baileyj96
Oh wow beetee, two more phone calls. I even got curious and tried google with the number. I'm sure you have already tried that. Nothing come up but all i could figure out was that is was definitely a London number. Hopefully they will send out a letter if they can't get hold of you. In the mean time .....glue that phone to your body somewhere. biggrin.gif

I'm still watching the list too. I was thinking they might update it on Monday but a week from the last time it was updated is Wednesday. Maybe they will do it then. ????

Have fun picking out those flowers cmltdg, I love planting flowers but I'm not doing much this year. My fiance used to do landscaping so I'm waiting on him to get here. I have an acre so he should have a ball. laughing.gif

Have a good day,

Baileyj

vicky, I hadn't seen your 'report' till now.....hang in there woman. We're all behind you two!
Baileyj96
biggrin.gif Thanks becca.

We are ok with how things went. Now just the waiting game. I figure about July I'll be on here ranting and raving. laughing.gif Naw I think we will be ok. It's not like we weren't expecting it. At least we knew what was going to happen instead of getting to the interview and finding out.

Hi everybody..... wow, there's going to be some serious flower planting soon huh tongue.gif Vicky is smart, letting him do the work good.gif j/k. btw, love your new avatar biggrin.gif

Thanks a million Tiff for reminding me of such a thing as the email...can't believe that slipped my mind blink.gif I emailed them about 1 hour ago, and I just got an email back *wow, they work fast huh..if they go through the waiver with the same speed, I guess we're all reunited by the end of this summer with our loved ones biggrin.gif * well, it wasn't them, I did write the phone no too and asked them, and they said that it wasn't them. Pheeew, now I can stop worrying. Thank you guys for participating in the mystery solving, you guys are the best. So sorry that it was really nothing blush.gif

Sounds like everyone is doing well, guess we are all still waiting. I hope that they get to your waivers soon Tiff and Paul - would love you hear you guys scream APPROVED laughing.gif and that you'll be added to the list soon Vicky good.gif maybe next week?? yes.gif

Take care now all, and let us know if there's any changes luv.gif

Hi Baileyj,

I'm sure you have been able to access the last update by now. But if not, the only change on the page was a "complete" for the Copenhagen case above Paul's and mine. All of the other cases that were "under review" are still under review. No other cases have been examined. So there it is. Like I said, a little disappointing.

I have no idea why I seem to be able to view the updates before you. No, I have no direct line but wow wouldn't that be great!

Take care and maybe next week London will redeem itself for our sake.

beetee did you ever call that number I gave you? Just curious as to what office it went to..You can always fax the embassy and ask for the ICE office. Tell them to call you and maybe you'll get a phone call. I really dont know why we were always so lucky with London emailing us and ICE faxing and calling but we were. I hope you get some answers soon! I spoke with a really nice lady but for privacy reasons I cant give her name out here. She helped so much and went out of her way to make me feel better. I think it's those sort of people that really help the waiver process and obviously make the petitioner feel much better as well.

I am sorry I was MIA the past few weeks. Our hard drive crashed on 4/19 I believe and I had no internet or even Windows for that matter! My husband moved back to NC with us about a week or so ago. He is driving me positively nuts and I hope he finds another job soon! We bought a used car, a 2000 model in early May. And I start a new job on Monday. I hope I like it!

Anyway...I hope you all are doing well.....we need some approvals soon!

Congrats on your wedding jpkeswim! and Congrats to Bailey (Vicky) for filing the waiver! smile.gif

Paul, and beetee how are you guys???

Nigel are you in the US yet?
