"Touching" is meaningless and no big deal. Some petitions get 'touched" and others never do. It only indicates someone had your petition in their hands and made note of it on the database. What truly counts are NOAs (yeah!) and RFEs (Boo!)

Thanks. I am also having badluck with the database. When I sign on and enter my WAC number nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?

I disagree about a touch being worthless. It at least means someone was looking (and entered it in the database?). At least I think it means our file is no longer on the short table leg in the file room keeping it from wobbling.

It also could mean a move from a desk to a wobbly table...

i don't buy the fact that the file was actually in someones hand. i called twice and i got touched . i think someone just entered my case number in to the system. i don't believe someone actually walked over the the exact box my case was a scanned it. and that is the last response i got when i called i was told my case is in a box on the shelf, so there fore i could have no RFE because no one has reviewed my packet yet
