Hello,
I am in the AP boat of this generation. My husband recieved the 221g on September 2007. In january of 2008 I called DOS, I learned that AP was completed in Washington and that the case was forwarded to the embassy. My husband has submitted his passport to the embassy and the consulate informed that now the case has to be reviewed.

Recently I have seen several visas in hand, from Jan 2008-February, the AP approval turnout has been good! 4-5 visas in hand of known members within 2 weeks, is a wonderful news!

When I say THIS GENERATION, I mean those who had their interviews in 2006/2007, have had AP for 3-8 months, and are still pending visas. There seems to be progress for this generation, as the new 2007-2008 generation pulls through.

I pray for the day when all of our generation is cleared! We may continue to help the next generation to our best ability.

Allah is with us, and keep the prayers strong. It is in His timing, not ours, and any moment, when we least expect it, we may soon get our visas in hand!

Let us love our loved ones like we have never loved before.

The truth is, those of us who have been through AP and are still going through it, will never forget this most life-changing experience. We will remember those days when all we could do to stop ourselves from insanity was praying. When hearing their voices over the long distance line was the most wonderful part of our days.

We will never forget, and we will take to heart most important lesson: to never take our marriages for granted.

We have learned so much and continue to learn each day.

Alhamdulilah! to those who have gotten their visas

Insha-Allah, we shall all be with our loved ones and get the visas in hand!

Tammy
