Hello All,

I just found out that my K3 file was assigned to an Adjuciator on Friday 2/8/2008. Just wanted to get some feedback from folks who have been thru this process on roughly how long is this Adjuciator Process at USCIS and when can I expect the case to be sent to NVC?

Thanks in advance !

Congrats - quick question - was this information given to you by USCIS ?

Wish you god speed and it really depends on what they have to look at and that no RFE are issued - but again Congrats!!!

Hi,

the last time my husband called he was told that we had been assigned an adjucator. That was Feb. 1st. No approval, no RFEs yet.

Thanks for the congrats! Is it not strange that it feels so good to get news of "some" movement and well wishes for fellow VJers........and then you realize I am still at the first true milestone of this whole lengthy process, and still waiting for that approval!

My wife in India is getting frustrated and is not very happy; I am like that too, but I guess I have to be the strong one. Any suggestions on how to keep your spouse on the 'positive" besides soothing words of encouragement, which I may have used up already.

Thanks again all!

Hi Panki
I'm this days very, very frustrated wife smile.gif but helps me a lot talking daily to my husband, and AVOID immigration subjects.
Wish you the soonest approval possible.

Indeed, Calamitka is correct. It makes things easier to avoid talk of immigration. When that is the main focus it makes the entire process seem to drag for longer and longer. I found it easier to go through this journey looking at an estimated completion date, rather than at each and every little detail and delay e.g I began the journey in April 2007 and was very frustrated until I set my sights on a Feb 2008 visa approval, it made it so much easier because (even with the minor delays in the process) everything was still on track, overall, to reach that goal.

I don't think there is a set time for how long a petition can be with an adjudicator, as it all depends on how many cases that adjudicator is given at one time to work on, the complexity of the case, whether or not all required information is there, and whether the name checks go through quickly or not.

I wish you the best though smile.gif

I am very happy right now but I'm more smiles than dancing wink.gif I still have so much to do before I leave that the days are flying by smile.gif No need to be a little jealous, you'll be in this position sooner than you think smile.gif
