Hi everyone, I wanted to see if anyone has received their NOA2. It has been 24 weeks since my I-130 was received at CSC. Does anyone know if CSC is processing the petitions together? I am worried they will process the I-129F much later since it was received in October. I was hoping to see both petitions approved soon.
Elbereth
my dates are very similar to yours, still nothing
SAVZ
Still nothing. As You know our dates are very similar ...no touches either sad.gif
This is frustrating !!!

Nothing here not even a recent touch. What is the RFE trick I hear about?
ColombianoGringo
When you call the USCIS customer service line, simply follow the options as if you had received a request for more evidence. This wil cause the system to ask you for your case number and it will then route you to the service center handling your petition.
AGarcia
Ok thanks!

Hey guys, I called CSC yesterday with RFE trick. They said that my petition would most likely be approved in the next month (or less). The lady was nice she said they are working on July 20th I-130 like the website says. She told me not to be suprised if my I-129F is canceled. I asked why it would be canceled.? Especially when it takes much longer to process the I-130 to get my husband here. She said well we are up to date on the green cards so that is why they are canceling the I-129f's.

I called on Friday to find out what was going on and why I have so many touches. I found out that the touches were not because of an adjudicator being assigned since they are still working on July 130's but the rep did say that within 30 days it should be assigned to one. Also, I asked about the issue of K3 being canceled and he claimed no they are not, but the I-130 is approved first and held while the I-129F portion gets sent to the embassy. Of course its just another representative filling in information I was seeking. As far as if its accurate or not I am not sure. Although it will probably be 30 days before seeing our approvals.

Good luck to us all

I hope the august filer will gonna have their NOA2 w/o any waiting so long next month or the month we supposed to be approved!
being away for many months now is so painful... goodluck to eveybody!
ctygl
My i-130 was approved January 10th. USCIS says my i-129f was closed the same day. So who knows. I think my i-130 is now lost.
Elbereth
not lost, they're just deciding that you're getting a CR1 instead
Nita&Assaad
Mine was cancelled but I think it could be re-opened .... I am still waiting
Elbereth
Any news, friends?

Cmonn I'm so anxious about this

Luckily, I'm meeting my husband in Buenos Aires in 2 weeks to get my fix tongue.gif
dora2X
Im hoping that the august filer get the approval soon.... can't wait! huh.gif

goodluck 2 all of u!
gfarias
Hi every body, I've join the visajourney just few minutes ago thought been a viewer for a while.
I've just found the Ctygl have the same situation with me and I dont know what going on, Elbereth said they are moving us up to CR1, hopefully everything got into place. If any one know about this situation before, please let me know. I'm very confused.
Elbereth
if they haven't canceled your I-129F yet, maybe there's still a chance they'll approve it

did you file with the new fee or the old?
did you send a payment with your I-129F as well?

gfarias
As we filed with new fee, $335 and I heard that, there is no other fee for I129F, is that true?
I checked both of the case status, the I129F still recieved and pending....????
ctygl
I say that I think my I-130 app is lost because NVC hasn't received it yet. They say 2 to 4 weeks to arrive at NVC and its been almost 6 weeks and it hasn't arrived it. Since we were planning on getting a k-3 visa we had put on the application to forward the i-130 to the local USCIS to do the AOS in the states. Now that they say our i-129f has been canceled, I don't know where the i-130 is. My NOA1 says it was forwarded to NVC but I'm doubting that since they haven't received it yet. I've called USCIS serveral times during the last week. They said that they will do a inquiry and they said that they mailed me a response a week ago but I haven't received anything. I'm going to call again today.
gfarias
So, nobody ever know about this case? I asked my husb to call in USCIS but they let him waited for 1 hour, he should be more pateint, I guess, and every body. I think even my antoney ran to check with her senior as she has not got back with us. However, as long as I clarify this, I will let you all!
Cheers.

hey!
I guess i'm an august filler as well, although got noa1 in october. As I understood uscis is still processing files with noa1 around july 15 sad.gif. So gotta wait a lil bit more. Just hope they don't cancel the 129f.
good luck to all!
ColombianoGringo
While I filed in July 2007, my NOA1 date is August 30, so I guess that makes me an August filer. In any case, I appear to be getting repeated "touches" over the last few days, so maybe things are moving for us long-suffering "August filers".

c.l,

On Thursday, I was told by a CSC agent that they are now past mid August petitions.
Behija
my petion (I-130) was approved febr 15, im august filer at CSC and I had touch on feb 17 (sunday) and feb 18

My I-130 was approved on Feb 15, too and I'm Ausgust filer, I had to waited 4 months for the NOA1 of I-130. As I know if you take I-130 interview, then your paper will be moved to NVC and takes about 1 to 3 months while they required you some of forms and fee ( you should refer the CR1 case for this as what I'm doing biggrin.gif ).

Congrats gfarias and Behija! It is good to know they are popping out some approvals, even though we are still waiting...hopefully we are next. Congratulations!
Elbereth
I'm really glad to see august people being approved biggrin.gif
timcass_12
oh cool! I am sooo glad to hear that CSC is making some progress. It's just so enlightening to see August filers being approved and that CSC is now mid way in processing August petitions yes.gif ... this only means that September K3 filers like me might get our NOA2 sometime next month kicking.gif ... I'll immediately inform my husband about this.

Thanks so much for sharing this development.

We have almost the same timeline as you - we were approved on 11 March 2008. Yes, they are processing the cases together. We sent our I130 on 17 August 2007 and our I129F on 5 October 2007. The cases were put together; last time touched on 1 November 2007; approved yesterday.
Hang in there, it will come :-)
nadzeela
My I-130 got approved on feb 19th, but NVC still hasn't received it yet... my I-129 is still on pending, not sure what are they going to do with that, when are they going to approve it...
