My EAD was ordered on the 6th and I have a company wanting to meet with me on tuesday..

Should I be ok to go if the card hasnt arrived yet? Ive read that its up to the employer if they wanna see the proof.. Im sure they would take my word that I am authorized..

Good luck to your job interview!! I think you should be fine, just explain to the HR that your EAD is on the way.

we are on the same board.
as confirmed from local office, my wife's EAD was approved in december end. we now got two "card production ordered" emails, one on feb 5th and other one today.
my wife has a job to start by Feb18th. we are hoping to get her ead by then.
I would appreciate your feedback on, if the email served the purpose of ead.

Hello i got a job too i will start on feb 12 but i dont have tha actual card, i forget to tell to the interviewer that i dont have the actual card only the emails from CRIS.

Congratulations It only took about four days from when we received the email until Claudeth GC arrived in the mail

If you have been approved for the card, you should be able to start working. Just show the card to the employer once you receive it.

should you get one notice saying that it's approved and an OTHER one saying that it is ordered? We only got the ordered email and not the approved.. I have interviews next week and hope that it will arrive by then!

There is no reason to discuss work authorization during an interview. It's actally illegal for a potential employer to ask about that in an interview. If they make an offer and you accept, it is only at that point you should bring it up.
