It's been a while I haven't posted anything in here, so I guess that means I do not have any trouble since then...LOL

Well, today, I have a question regading DCF in Vietnam. Do US Embassy/Consulate in Vietnam accept Direct Filing Consular?

Here is the situation:
A cousin of my wife just got married here in the States,
She is vietnamese,
She is still in the States (tourist ViSa to be expired soon I think),
Her husband is US Citizen.

Question:
Should she leave to Vietnam no matters whether DCF is allowed or not in Vietnam?

Please, forumers, any of your suggestions will be appreciated.

She should remain in the US and they should file I-130 in conjunction with the adjustment of status.

I missed this one because it wasn't in the Viet Nam forum. I'm sure this had been resolved already, but I truly hope she stayed. That Consulate is pretty rough to go through. Why not, many other people from other Countries have got away with it. I personally don't think the loophole should be there, but it is.

I can't believe a single Vietnamese female got a tourist visa! That's relatively unheard of.

If she did not intend to marry him and immigrate when she entered the US, she should absolutely stay in the US and file the I-130 and I485 together and not leave the country until she has her green card.
