I know Egypt is having issues with their phone lines, has anyone latetly called Morocco and noticed problems? My husband called on Saturday and yesterday with a card we always buy that has a great connection and never cuts off however these two times it has continually cut the connection off and when it does connect he can't hear them very well. Anyone else with similar problems? Wondering if it's the lines and not the card.

Not sure about it, but I know my husband has called Morocco a couple of times this week and had no problems that I'm aware of. Hopefully it will remedy itself quickly - it's frustrating.

i always thought the problem was my MIL's crap phone or the fact she is in the mountains in essaouira right now and there is a weaker connection. we haven't been able to get through period in the past few days.

Yes we too have been having the same problem it's not the phone card , because even when I call from my house phone to Morocco , I get a lot of noise and static and the phone card I buy also cuts off all the time and when it connects to the connection is awful, the phone card company told me there is still problems with all the lines and even when my husband gets on line it cuts on and off the whole time this last weekend we had a horrid time trying to talk and see each other because of the bad connection hopefully soon it will be fixed, in the mean time I am off to Morocco to see my Husband !!! tongue.gif I am so so excited I havent seen him for 7 months and that was when we got married, take care.

I haven't any issues calling Kenitra lately. I called both on a Land line and with a card.

A little update on our experiences. Not only are we getting disconncted when we call Rabat. Rabat gets disconnected when they call us. So its all over.
