For the affidavit of support I will send my 2007 w2 and tax return. My question is do I need to send the years prior to that? There will be a fee to reprint my prior w2's so I don't want to pay for them if I don't need them.

you can include the last 3 years if you want to but they only require the one for 07.

I guess it depends with the pre screener.

I was asked for the 2006 only, she said if I have the 2007 much better.

Some were asked for three years, so just to be safe better prepare 3 years.

I was interviewed in 2007 so I only brought Joe's 2006 ITR. I also brought along his W-2 and Certificate of Employment, as stated in the Packet 4. If your fiancee feels comfortable with your recent ones, I believe that okay but if not then just send the last 3 ITRs. Goodluck !

I got only 2007 Tax return and W-2s because that's all I got..one will be enough as long you met or above the 125% poverty line..Goodluck!
