I've been sitting here trying to put this together perfectly and wondering how some of you did this. For the pictures im sending i know i put them in a plastic bag, but do i put ALL the pics in one bag or do i put them each in their own?

and how did you all keep your papers together? i bought a folder to put them all in, but wondering what some of you guys used to keep this mess of papers together neatly.

I used a plastic folder that snapped all the documents together, and a separate plastic bag for each set of photos.

hmmm does this make me the first february filer? i've yet to see anyone else filing this month yet...

the 325 pictures i am putting each seperately with our forms, the evidence of marriage pictures prob will put larger bag i think i will do one for each trip. I will attach these bags to white sheets of paper, as for the whole application i am punchng two holes in the top and using a slide fastener, then will put tabs for each section at the bottoms

i hope to file very soon too, so i will be with you. mayor hasn't turned in our marriage certificate to vital stats yet, so been waiting, called him again told him why we really need it and said it will be there tomorrow lol

yea thats why i'm just filing now, and i married in november! they lost the first one sent to me in the mail, so i had to wait for another one

wow 325 pics.... i have a ton of pics of us together, but i was only going to send like 5.... maybe i should send more?

i was sending - 5 pics of us together, my travel iteniraries from my 2 trips there, and an affidavit from my sister...

now im not so sure its enough evidence lol

no not 325 pictures the passport style that you need attach to the forms 325A we also married in nov im going to try to send in the application next week so the passport pic of me in a bag, passport of him in bag then all from on trip together in one bag, and then from second trip and marriage in another bag. I have heard of some send a few up to 200 pictures, plus videos, etc.

Im not k1 anymore that one was returned, now going cr1

yeah im not sending that much in either, maybe they think they should becaue they're K-1 (at least thats what it says) im sending in a few pics, copies of anything he put my name on as a benificiary, lease where it says i can say, and I guess copies of our CCs that we have together.

lol and edit...ok those goodies (passport pics) gotta get all those. I really want to mail it by Friday but I bet I won't be all set till next week

yes i've been trying to get this sent out for over a week now but keep having to add things myself lol im going to go to kinkos and try and get this COMPLETED today so i can get this process rolling

With my I-130 I only sent this:

Cover letter
Check for I-130 fee
I-130 form
Copy of marriage certificate
G-325A forms each (8 pages total)
Passport style photos (4 total)
Copy of Certificate of Naturalization
2 affidavits from my mom and sister


No pictures were included since the marriage certificate and affidavits are all I needed for the I-130. I took the pictures to the interview though.

Then I put a big paper clip on it and sent it off.

You need not show the embassy 100's of pictures. Bring with you some of the most important pictures showing your marriage and the ceremony. Also bring enough pictures of the invited guests. Bring your wedding invitation cards, proof of joint financial documents like joint bank accounts, joint residence or house lease, etc. You can keep all the photos in a single plastic bag. The embassy official will mostly pick out 5 or 6 photos from the whole lot. For the supporting documents along with i-130, individual plastic sheets to hold em will be fine. all the best.

I didnt send any pics at all except for the required passport photos. but I guess there's no harm in sending tons of photos.

I plan on sending my I-130 on monday,( not sure if im going for the k3 or cr1 just yet) but what i plan on sending is the I-13, the check, cover letter all g325 for both of us, 2 passport type pics for each of us, marriage license, copies of my plane ticket there in june of 2007 and the return ticket in sept 2007. affadavits from a few ppl that they now about our marriage, copies of some chats some from 2006 and 2007 and 2008. records from skype, pictures from our wedding party and when i was there (ive only been able to make the one trip so far). I still feel nervouse that i dont have enough. We havent been on any lease together or have bank account together.

well in about 5 hours i'll be sending mine off with this enclosed :

Cover letter
Check for I-130
I-130 petition
Copy of my birth certificate
marriage license
translation of marriage license
form 325a for him & me
2 passport style photos of each of us
pics of me & him together (11 total) (a couple from each trip, our wedding, and the christmas card i had made out)
my plane ticket iteneriaries
and an affidavit by my sister.
