I sent an email to Amman asking why the I130 which was approved the same day as the I129F did not get forwarded to NVC and then to Amman. I wanted to know if I needed to request it to be forwarded. This is the response back:

Dear Rhonda:
Although both petitions are to bring a spouse to the United States, The NVC always treats the I-129F as an expedite case.
They will forward the I-130 after that. This will not delay process, since we will process the one we received first unless the beneficiary asked to use the I-130 instead.
Thank you

That is an incorrect assumption on the part of the embassy... If the NOA2 for the I130 states that "the beneficiary is in the US" it means that the USCIS have kept the I130 for the adjustment of status after the foreign spouse arrives in the US on the K3 visa.

The days where there were "2 horses in the race" (which is what the embassy are hinting at) have been long gone sad.gif
