Guys,

I just called NVC, spoke with representative and asked her does my 864 form is generated?!?!?! Her answer was:" As far as I know yes, BUT we will mail it to you in a few weeks." What am I suppose to do? Mail my documents or not???

If you are going to send the I-864 in before you receive the request from NVC, you will need to use James's shortcuts and generate a coversheet etc. That info can be found here:

Man, these people at the NVC kill me. That's exactly what happened to me with the DS-230 and I ended up waiting for it to arrive. I would call the NVC again and see what another agent tells you. You might get the answer you need.

Ok, I called again and the operator was not that "nice", the first question after I gave her my case# was:"Did you call today?"... I said Yes. Does their system count calls? But anyway on my question does my I-864 is generated I had answer:" We will send it to you some day this week and you will receive it in a next 2-4 weeks."
NOW!!!! What is this mean

That sounds like they are trying to get you off the line and the comment on did you call today.....i guess the answer is that if they would give us the correct information in the first place we would not have to be calling back every soddy day-

I am sorry to hear this but god speed on the rest of the nightmarish journey.

If they said they're going to mail it to you this week, that means they generated it on Monday. You can send the I-864 coversheet if you have it ready and it should be ok. That's how they played me with the DS-230 and a few people told me to go ahead and send it, I panicked and ended up waiting for it instead. When it arrived, it had the date of the Monday of the week they said they were going to mail it.

Well, I guess I will mail it tomorrow I-864EZ form cause is apply to my case, and in the instructions says that I need to send the most recent taxes to send the previous two is optional. What you guys think?

If you have your last 3 years' taxes ready, send em all, even though sending only the most recent year's is required.

After 4th time (never did this before, lol) calling the NVC today finally got my answer, I-864 was sent Feb 4th and yes I will mail tomorrow my paperwork
