On January 22, 08 my husabnd had his interview in Guatemala. He EWI in 2000, but he was a minor. His mom had political asylum, therefore he qualified. In 2007 the judge denied his political asylum and gave him voluntarly departure. We were married and I was having our first child. My husband left to Guatemala before February 16, 07. I had my child w/out my hubby presence.
Meanwhilw all this happened I petitioned my husband.
On January 18, 08 I went to Guatemala to be by his side and to meet his son that he has never seen only through pictures. On the day of the interview everything was going well, except that he had a DUI. The CO told him that he needed a second medical exam, which he had done by the panel physician and had to answer about 200-300 questions. The doctor concluded that he was not an alcoholic and wrote positive remarks on the medical exam.
This Morning my husband went back to the Guatemalan Consulate to turn in the exam and the CO told him to come back tomorrow to pick up his VISA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
