I got transferred here in march and i know other people got transferred even later. youre freaking out too much girlfriend (or boyfriend?). i dont think you should get an infopass appointment since there seems to be nothing wrong other than you being nervous. it just takes patience!

Cassie, let´s see when the first 2/26 approval comes. With the "wild date mix up" so far it could be any day. Even if they finish up 2/25 first, that should be this week or early next week. Let´s hope we are all done before this month is over!!!!

I know, it's just that they screwed us over so much with the AOS that I don't trust them at all.....they lost our documents, lost our biometrics, and sent the card to the wrong address.....!!!!!

Heh, I just hope that's not the smell of the exhaust pipes as everyone runs over me. Actually, there are only three with later NOA1s that have been approved before me, so that's not so bad. I predict this coming Monday -- a year and a day after my NOA1 date.

mine was transfered from TSC to VSC Jan 31st 2008 and last touched was 2/25/2008.

Do you its time now for us to get approved or still have to wait ?

On April 10th, the USCIS online status said "Card Ordered to be Produced, contact us in 30 days if you dont get the card", just like yours.

But! Now the online USCIS has changed to "Approval Notice Sent", because we got an approval notice yesterday.

For God's sake, I WISH I had taken a screen shot of that "card ordered" page, because now I have no proof it was ordered. I just called the USCIS customer service line and they said they cant go back and check previous updates.

I have a bad feeling the USCIS made a mistake in telling me my card was ordered.

Has anyone else gotten an update of "card ordered", but never actually gotten the card? Sounds odd, but this IS the USCIS were talking about. They seem to derive great pleasure from yanking our collective chain.

You should be receiving the card soon. When we got my husband's notice from the CRIS emails this is what the two emails said:

On December 3, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. We received his GC on December 8, 2007. From our experience and based on email timeframes, your application has been approved and your greencard is on the way.

I got Card Production ordered email, on April 10th and got same email on April 11th.

On April 15th another email saying that "Approval notice sent". This is my current status, but i am hoping the card in mail any time.

i don't know about other people, who recently got approvals.

I've had the same thing happening - change from card production ordered to approval notice sent.
As others have pointed out, it probably means the card is on the way!

Nobody today (yet)? Certainly not me. I see VSC is still approving some direct filers who filed up to five months after some of us who remain unapproved. At least we now know what VSC does on Wednesdays and Thursdays . . . .

that means that the card its been sent ,mine says the same ,but you are approved already so do not worry about it !!!you may get your card during this week or the next one

You didn't get your card yesterday? Everyone has gotten their card seven days after getting approved. Don't wreck the streak!

Thanks for adding us back! Sorry, I haven't been around - we've been busy relocating and then moving again... hopefully we'll get the card at our new address (the online change of address for pending cases didn't work the 1st time).

Well ,mine did not came yet ,its been 9 days ,but after i got aproved i was touch like 4 more times ,the last touch was on the 14 ,they said that they mail it on the 11 so ,maybe tomorrow i ll get it .

The email approval window opens up in about ten minutes . . . we shall see. It is a Friday, so we should get SOMEbody.

Hopefully we will finish up March and maybe April today. would be nice to see a 2-26 approval also, just so we re not forgotten :-)

I'm beginning to think that maybe they are doing the 2/25 batch in alphabetical order, which would put me at the end of approvals for those folks. Did we completely shoot down that theory? I kinna remember.

Let’s hope for the best. Last Friday we saw first approval around 2pm if I am right and about the other Friday approval we heard only on Monday.

As much as I'd like to figure out myself how USCIS works, I think at this point the only conclusion drawn from past approvals is that there is absolutely no logical system at work.
Approvals are random, the alphabetical order proven invalid, since we as a "B" should have been approved earlier then. NOA1 expiry dates were just as inconclusive.
Honestly, I think they've just dumped us all in a box, and they take a little pile here and there. Depending on the case worker we get approved earlier or later... Who knows, may-be your case worker is on vacation right now, and your file sits patiently on his desk...
The only thing I think happened is that they've split us up in several batches, i.e. the 2/25 dates together and the 2/26 dates together etc. as there is hasn't been any 2/26 approval yet...

Anyway, I wish you all luck that your approvals will come very soon. I'm sure rooting for all of you!

Aha. We are a "W." If you buy the alphabetical order theory, that could mean they are doing "T"s today and won't get to me until Monday or even Tuesday. I wonder if licianne, the other 2/25 (aside from the Canadian in Texas newbie dude, I guess), has a last name that begins with something after "S"?

Mail should not be a problem, even if you are approved a week or two after your move and the card gets mailed to the wrong address:
USCIS letters do not get forwarded. However, one can ask the post office to "hold" mail for up to 30 days. The addressee then picks up the collected items at the post office after 30 days (free of charge). Therefore, I would simply order a hold for the day after my move (using the old address). I believe that even non-forwarded mail gets held.

Hmm, and other than Tweety's example, there was only one other post disproving the theory -- runeasy, who was approved on 3/28 and who said here that his last name began with a W. He didn't specify whether his wife had the same last name, though, and also he (or his spouse) is from Hong Kong. There might be something wacky there because the Chinese use their first names as last names (i.e., Deng Xiaoping's last name is Deng, not Xiaoping).
