CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED.

Yeah! I finally got a CRIS "card production ordered" email today after more than 12 months of waiting. My NOA from TSC was dated 06/08/07; got biometrics done 06/07/07; got transfered to VSC 02/26/08. Good luck to all those who are still waiting.

Oooops....I meant to say biometrics was done 07/07/07.....still mad at them for taking so long to hear something, though!

i have never posted timelines, because i just file things away and never find them easily... however, i know that the texas service center received my paperwork on june 18th 2007. i then had my case transferred to vermont on january 31 2008. a couple of days ago, on june 18 2008, i received an email that the production of my green card has been ordered. exactly one year waiting.. i wish everyone luck. i had paid attention to a couple of comments i had read where some of us had been approved, and their comment was that they were approved when they had not been checking. well, the same happened to me. when i was tired of checking the uscis.gov site, as well as this one, my card production was ordered. maybe that helps... especially with the anxiety. take time off these sites and i am sure you will be the next one. - vivira.

As long as they keep working I am okay and just hope it will be this week. I would pay money to find out their sorting system though. They left James behind for a month, approve some June filers while still doing the last 2-25 etc....

So, it took exactly 12 month!

James I am still around...i was out of the country for 5 weeks. I went to my home country and just got back yesterday. I had to use the extension stamp to get back in. Congratulations you got your card, can you believe I have not received any correspondence yet, not even an RFE...this sh*t is so frustrating.

Base on the processing time frame, it is more than 30 days form the date you filed I-751. So there is just one more thing left to call USCIS and ask them what going there. That is the last day your case get touched or the last day you get notice from them. If it is more than 60 days, don't waste any second... call them right now. They are allowed 30 days to make a decision or give you another notice .... I guess just to make is legal for them to continue pending the case!

You and dallaschic really have to do something -- you're both way out of even the official processing time, by about two months or so, and you haven't gotten any RFEs or anything. Definitely contact your congress critters, in addition to putting in the service request with CIS. (And when you do put in the service request, make sure you ask whomever you are speaking with to "escalate" the call to a CIS officer.)

anyone remember "cr89 approved" being on our transfer notices? USCIS has now clarified that it means the biometrics were approved, not the petition... just one more mystery solved

in the last time I called USCIS, the said If i have not receive any notice from them until July 16Th, I should give the a call at that time! hopefully i will got approval notice before July 16th but not something like RFE or 3rd biometrics . I think every supplemental document will give them a chance to pend your case. One more thing i just figure out, The biometrics value for more than 1 year. What i heard from the office about my biometrics is wrong. Many people still got approved after 12+ month without redo biometrics. I do not know why people could say something like that or why Vermont give me that notice with out any explain. I think they have the rite to ask us what to do to support our case but we have the right to know why we do that also!

would you post all of this notice from USCIS Please! I have never got any words like this in my 2 notices form USCIS. 1st one on Jan 31 say that my case was transfered to VSC and 2nd one on Feb 22 with the Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transfered.
I guess may be that the reason i have to do the biometrics again!

USCIS Clarifies Language in Form I-751 Transfer Notices Sent to Petitioners
Current Notice May Be Interpreted as USCIS Granting Approval for Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence


WASHINGTON—U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced today it will revise language in transfer notices received by petitioners who filed a Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence. The current notice includes language that may cause petitioners to believe their cases have been approved.

USCIS announced last month that it is revising filing instructions for Form I-751 to require filing at the California or Vermont Service Centers. Until the form instructions are revised, any petitions filed with the Nebraska and Texas Service Centers will be transferred to California and Vermont, respectively. When USCIS enters data at one service center and later transfers the case to another, a Transfer Notice is sent to the petitioner advising him or her that the case has been transferred for adjudication and that they will be notified of the final decision.

The current transfer notice currently contains the following phrase: “CRI89 approved removal of conditions (I89).” That statement means that the biometric portion of the case has been successfully transferred; it does not, however, mean that the petition itself was approved.

While USCIS is in the process of changing the language in the transfer notice, a substantial number of notices have already been mailed containing the potentially confusing statement. Any petitioner who may have received such a notice should be aware of the following:

• At the time the I-751 was transferred, USCIS had not yet adjudicated (approved or denied) the case;
• USCIS transferred the case to the Service Center listed on the notice for adjudication; and
• If the petitioner has not received additional information from the California or Vermont Service Centers, USCIS has not yet adjudicated the case.

Petitioners who have a specific question related to their I-751 petition should contact the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283 for more information.

okay, I never received a reply from one of my senator (I wrote to her about a month ago) I wrote to my second senator today, let's see if I have any luck with him....

You guys, we really need to get approved soon. All we do all Monday Tuesday and Friday is hang out on this forum and check our emails. Forget that, Ive been doing that every day! Is this any way to exist? Does anyone really grasp the level of desperation here? Sometimes I wonder what will happen after we get approved. Are we going to have psychological scars? Will we need a support group? OK Im going to take a walk now or something....

After a year and change, someone must have disreagred the DO NO TOUCH sign on the box that held our case file. And rather than putting it back, it seem that they just approved it.

They don't follow any order. They're under strict instructions not to let the public figure out their M/O. Or maybe they're just still the same big mess they have been for all the years I've been dealing with them. The latter is more likely.

My application receipt number (SRC07 etc.) and end’s on xx (two last digits), so I just look up number close to my number’s. For example if your number end on 40 look up all number from with last digits from 01 to 50 (and look for application type CRI89).

my case ends with 16.... so, number 15 was approved on June 17, and number 12 was approved on June 19... but everything in between and after (up to #18) still waiting!!!!!.... so I don’t think it has something to do... I truly believe that we are both on hands of a lazy LAZY LAZYYYYYYYYYYY officer who does not care or work.... for what??? He is getting paid anyhow and our approvals does not affect him on anything.... one or two less or more immigrant do not make a difference for him.... He is just lucky I don’t know him!!! Get to work you Lazy bastard!!! I paid your salary 382 days ago!!!!!! I WANT MY APPROVAL BEFORE JULY 4…. BECAUSE THAT IS A LOST WEEKEND….. IN WHICH THEY DO NOT WORK.

Ok, let's ""plan"" for approvals before the week of July 4,

you need to make an INFOPASS appointment ASAP at your local office for two reasons: one, to get the I-551 stamp in your passport (you don't get another extension letter, the stamp will become your extension); and two, you need to find out why you haven't had biometrics yet.

Is July 1st the one year anniversary of the expiration of the date of your GC card? Or a year from the date of your extension letter? If it's the former, you need to get the stamp ASAP. If it's the latter, you have some time to work with, although I wouldn't put it off since you have the biometrics issue.

There are several choices:

Please select Kind of Service you need

You need Service on a case that has already been filed

You are a new Permanent Resident and have not yet received your Permanent Resident Card

You want to file an application in person

You need information or other services

You need a form.


I do not remember what I put the last time, I believe I put "need information or other services"

OK, so for those of you who have been approved and have received your cards, did anyone of you notice multiple 'touches' on your account after the email approval?

I was approved last Friday and since then I was 'touched' again on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday. I expect another touch again today and it's beginning to feel like some unscrupulous VSC employee is undoing or messing up something.

yes, everyone here had report multiples touches after the approval email... don’t worry you may even get duplicates approval notices by email.... and even one with card send by mail....
