We thank God that our son Thomas James 1 year old is now american citizen. He was approved last January 30 and now we are waiting for the delivery of his american passport and citizenship certificate.
And to all who file CRBA good luck guys and feel free to ask me some information regarding CRBA i promise to give all information you needed..

hi my son Wade Ulysses is scheduled to appear in USEM on the 11th of February @ 10:30 am .... the girl from USEM who called me wanted me to bring my husband US passport and my passport ... unfortunately my hubby's passport was misplaced and it was reported already. i asked her if i really need to present it even if I already submitted my husband CERTIFICATE OF NATURALIZATION? he cant request another passport at this time coz his naturalization cert was submitted to USEM. she said its upon the decision of the consul.

did the consul ask for ur hubby us passport or u already included it together with the forms and other docs?

what are the questions asked by the consul?

BTW we are in K3 petition and we have interview appointment on the 6th of March.

I got my daughter's passport and US Birth Certificate Last Year..

Don't forget to get your USC kids the Exit Permit from the Bureau of Immigration (Intramuros) upon leaving the Philippines..

Or else they will be denied for the travel..

what were asked? my husbands passport is stolen too however we have sched with us embassy for his renewal loss passport, can i apply there directly? how much do i need to prepare (amount)?dna testing amount estimate?documents? how long did u received the ssn# and passport?

What were asked? Questions like... Where is the father? Date the father last visited the Philippines? Stuff like that..

To apply for the CRBA... All they can do for you @ the embassy is give you instructions on what to do.. You have to call the ACS # then they will mail you the application, then you have to call again and they will pick up the application.. After 2 weeks of review, they will call you and give you an Interview Appointment..

I have forgotten the fee.. But I think its no more than $200 if approved.

DNA testing depends on the Consul.. If you can't make the consul to believe that the kid is really an American, then he will likely suggest that...

FYI: DNA testings are very expensive.. They can vary up to PHP50,000.00 pesos..

Documents? They will be on the instructions.. (Father's passport, Father's BC, etc..)

If approve the passport will be sent via DHL in about 2 weeks upon approval.

No SSN# is issued..
