True but not many and I think a lot of them are just people who have not come back and updated their timelines

Cuz last i saw my LOVE 5 month ago.

Well, before i sent my I-129F application, I had resigned myself to wait some months til i got the NOA2, based on last year's results I saw on the forums from people that applied after July. However, now that I see people that applied after me have gotten their NOA2 approved, my expectations have gone a bit crazy! Time to go take a deep breath!

I think all our expectations are a little wild when we see February filers being approved already. I have only been waiting a month but am already impatient to see that approval notice!!

No doubt! I am wondering where the hell my NOA2 is already when I thought I'd be waiting into May originally. I see people getting approved who filed a week after me and that makes me think that my file had to of been moved or something yet there has been no touhces in almost a month.

it is tough. To be honest going into this at first we'd expected to wait min 3-4 months. Never did we expect things to move quickly. Expectations are tough only because there is no real control once it all leaves your hands. VJ has been a godsend for me in both keeping me sane and grounded.

Not to mention the wealth of friends i've met here and couldn't manage without.

Been quiet in the February filers thread lately! I see there have been a few more approvals over the past couple of days for February filers at VSC (hopefully CSC will be catching up soon).

I am hoping the Easter Weekend will mean I stop checking the USCIS site three times a day for an update! I wonder if I can resist until Tuesday?!?

We sent our I-129F on February 22. The cheque has been cashed but we still haven't received our NOA. Some people are receiving theirs within days of the cheque being cashed. Is this unusual, and how long should we wait before calling them for the number?

Sometimes it can take a few weeks to get the hard copy, but you may be able to get the reference number from the back of the cashed cheque so you can check the status on the uscis website.

I have not received any approvals nor RFE after NOA1 which was received on Feb 25th. Can't wait to get the NOA2, and I am becoming so impation.

Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately, the cheques are not sent back, just available electronically. I don't think you can view the back, only the front.

Would the bank send you a copy if you asked them?

Did you check your bank's website? My bank posts both front and back electronically.

so did mine, reading the number might be a bit tricky though.

hi, I think you should call them up because they might have sent it to the wrong address like what happened in our case. My fiance send I-129F on Feb. 9, checked was cashed Feb. 11 and NOA1 hardcopy was received on March 22.

This past week has been pretty quiet overall it seems. Hope this next week brings lots of approvals!

Ours was received in Vermont on the 21st of Feb. There hasn't been so much as a touch
since then. From what I've been reading, it could be soon but he's getting really discouraged over there in England AGAIN. Hi to all Fabulous February Filers!

I keep thinking of reasons why they may have been slow up in Vermont last week -- they did get a lot of new snow. Maybe they had the flu. March in New England is BLEEECH. But April should bring them a daffodil and that may cheer them up and get them going. If the daffodils don't bloom up there I'll SEND them some daffodils!!!!

I want to ask -- how do you get your timeline to show up at the end of your message?
Also, I can't get a pic to show up but that's not so important. I have tried all different sizes and it says it's uploaded but then it's just not there.

To get your timeline to show at the end of your message you need to include it in your signature - go to My Controls > Edit Signature. You'll have to type in your timeline manually - there's no way to set your signature to automatically extract data from elsewhere.

If by picture you mean an avatar (i.e. the picture that is displayed under our names whenever we make a post) go to My Controls > Edit Avatar Settings. If uploading doesn't seem to work you might want to try hosting it elsewhere and linking to it (i.e. on photobucket or any personal image gallery).

I'm a newbie here; signed up because I was worried...

I filed Feb 26th (I-130, I-131, I-485, I-765 bonanza!) via USPS express to Chicago lockbox, tracking shows receipt on Feb 27th, but no word at all since...checks not cashed, nothing. Should I be panicking right now?

Don't worry about that. I sent our petition in mid-January and we were approved late February. We were never touched at all, just approved in a month and a half.

Nobody wanted to touch us.
