Hello,
my dad has 10 year visa and he is visiting now. I wonder what are the rules to visit US and go back. I know he doesn`t need visa any more but everytime he comes here the immigration officer will decide how long he can stay, but once he goes back to his country when can he come back to visit me again. What is the time interval and regulations. I couldn`t find this info on website uscis.gov. Where can I read more about that?
Thank you very much

You didn't find anything on the USCIS website because the USCIS has nothing to do with border entry procedures. The department having jurisdiction is the Customs and Border protection Agency (CBP). With that said you most likely will not see any official guidelines there wither because the decisions are left to the discretion of the CBP officer at the POE.

A good rule of tumb is to stay out at least as long as you were in, remember he is visiting the US, not living here.
