Hi all,
does anyone now whether my hubby to be could get through security and pick me up basically from the gate to go through Immigration and customs with me? I will have 4 huge suitcases,a HUGE dogkennel,a cat kennel AND a 7 year old ADHD child with me and unless I grow at least 2 more hands/arms I'm lost.
We are talking about Seattle Tacoma International Airport by the way, just in case it makes a difference..
Thanks for any helpful replies

There is no-way he would be allowed to do that.
Contact the airline you are flying with and ask if they can arrange assistance for you. Most airports have porters or skycaps and it maybe possible to arrange help in advance.

It's true, sorry to say. Good luck with your baggage, and look for a cart or two.

Nope, you're on your own. Most of the time you go through Immigration and Security before you collect your baggage though.

Yeah, they won't let your husband inside baggage claim to help you out. There are carts you can get for about $1.00 each and you can pile up the suitcases on them. There are also porters around who can help you with your bags but don't forget to tip them because that's what they do it for.

When you arrive in the international area at SEA-TAC you'll go through Immigration (where they are VERY nice, by the way - Seattle is a great POE) and then you'll go down the escalator to where you'll have to pick up your luggage from the carousel. You then have to take it yourself through past the Customs people and then drop it off at another moving belt where it will be sent on to baggage claim while you and your son take the train.
Your fiance will be able to meet you at baggage claim to help so the only time you'll have to manage it all alone will be for about 200 meters between the first carousel and the moving belt after the Customs area. I'm sure you'll find someone to help.

When you are checking in before your flight, let them know your circumstances, and they'll have someone waiting to help you when you get off the plane.
