One thing is try checking round trip tickets, it sounds crazy but often they are cheaper. Ex. Lima to JFK then a few days later (play with the "return day" it may change prices too) JFK to Lima. Even though you will not use it......
I sometimes find good deals at
www.kayak.com

Yeah, look at the round trip tickets. Just buy changing the dates and playing around with it we got tickets that were about $400.00 cheaper on the round trip side and saved close to $1,000.00 over one way. Good luck with every thing.

My hubby always used Lan Chile but is a little bit pricey.
The prices depend on the time of the year when you want to travel. For example last week I found tickets RT NY-LIM-NY $520 with Lan Chile. Another good airlines with good prices TACA or COPA, my sister came last year via COPA in July $687 not bad at all.
In the web you can check www.cheaptickets.con, www.explora.com, www.travelocity.com
Good Luck!

I have a friend who came by SPIRIT , the price was awesome but the flight was terrible, the service sucks!!!, he told me that next time he will pay a little bit more but will never use SPIRIT again.

Go to Lan.com and instead of using the USA site, use the "Peru" site. Significantly cheaper, 50% cheaper on flights from Lima to Cusco and also cheaper from JFK to Lima (direct too!!)
