Still waiting for approval from VSC.

Never thought it would take this long when the saga began. I knew it was just being hopeful to have it approved for NOA2 before year was out because of the low approval numbers in Sept and Oct, but the surge in November and December gave us hope that it was possible. Have been triple checking ever since the first approval with same NOA1 date as mine was approved but to no avail.
I surely hope that ours has already been looked at and just waiting for routine checks to come back. But just how long does that take? Here is somethings that I have done in Janurary.
Started a new job in a different state. Offer was made Friday before Christmas and I accepted position. Medical and drug screen as well.
Applied for and been approval for mortage offer
Changed drivers license. Got new voters card same day as well.
Bought new car and with different insurance company.
Closed bank account at former city and open one up at new city.
Plans are in place for 401k to be moved from former employer to an IRA next month.
Some of those things were state controlled but all were handled quickly and smoothly. Whats up with the federal government taking so long to approve for NOA2? Proof of ongoing relationship? Submitted. Proof of having met in last 2 years? Submitted. G325 from both of us? Submitted. Intent to marry? Submitted. The USCIS did updated my new address within 2 days on its website. I guess they do somethings in a timely manner.
It is hard to sit back and watch as later filers get approved day after day. I know those that filed earlier than us have used up all their patiences and tank is now empty. I do pray that ours and earlier filers do get to see that approval notice soon.
