I thought I'd post this report not only to encourge those of you who are waiting, but also to share my joy. kicking.gif

We received NOA2 on April 12, and that was the first time we could see out case online since filing in January. If you're still waiting to see yours, hang it there.......I know it's like walking down a never ending street blindfolded - makes you feel a tiny bit insecure. blink.gif

NBC sent our file to NVC on April 17, they received it on April 20, assigned case # and entered it on the system the same day. Of course I asked them when they would send it on to London and they suggested I check back with them on April 24 (after the weekend). They needed to review the immigration process before sending it on to London.

I called NVC on April 24 and they confirmed that the file was sent to London on April 21. kicking.gif kicking.gif kicking.gif

I already have my medical booked, and packet 3 papers prepared with check list and declaration of readines!! .........and my husband has DHL'd to me the necessary interview documents. star_smile.gif Did I forget anything?

We are getting through this, and you will too. good.gif

Thanks for the encouragement , I called USCSI yesterday at 10:45 AM and a lady by the name Amanda answered , I asked her to change my address on my 130 and 129F . While she was doing that I took the oportunity to ask her about my 129F , when is it going to be processed ??? She told me to hang in there that it will take 2 o 3 more weeks. I hope so.

Things are moving forward now nicely for you. Good luck on your upcoming interivew and enjoy your being on cloud nine.

Frank, I know precisely where you're at, it is hard. I also know that it will come.............as sure as night follows day! yes.gif

Just wanted to let you know...
Our I-129F petition was approved on April 14. I called NVC this morning (after reading RMHurd's post) and they said they sent my application to the Montreal consulate yesterday, April 24.
So yes, things are moving along.

RMHurd, your post made me smile.

Wonderful news! kicking.gif Congratulations!!!

You're right - it does help those of us waiting to hear that things are moving along (especially when the processing times seem to be stuck! tongue.gif ) Thanks for the encouraging news. yes.gif

BTW, did London require your NVC case# to book the medical?

NVC case# was asked for when I booked the medical, but I said I didn't have it right now, so she just said I could let her have it later..........no problem at all. They did take a credit card # for late cancellation or no show just to cover themselves (they do that with everybody). She also advised that if I wanted to change the date that was also possible with enough notice.

Cygnet, we'll be waiting to hear about your adventures in Montreal. Just curious, since your Service Center is in California, why not Vancouver?

I think the service center (where we sent our I-130) has to do with where the petitioner lives. My husband is in California. (We sent the I-129-F to Missouri - NBC). I guess the interview/consulate is based on where the beneficiary lives. I'm currently staying in Quebec.

Did they give you any information on tracking the package?

That's nice that your case has been both approved, received and forwarded on to the consulate. I've called NVC several times and they said they haven't received my case as of yet, and it was approved on the 13th (April) sad.gif . I guess I just have to keep waiting......

It will get there, you are only just behind us. biggrin.gif I just assumed they mailed our NOA2 at the same time they sent the file to NVC, because they both arrived on the same day. When you get your hard copy NOA2 it's more likely that your case will be on it's way, if not already at NVC. You are approved and many people are still waiting, the road to NVC is short in comparison. huh.gif

I called NVC, they confirmed the file was sent via DHL, but were unable to tell me how to track it. It's a crying shame when it's cheaper to call NVC than it is the Consulate in our own country! huh.gif

Found what I think we've been looking for at long last tongue_ss.gif (Quote from Peter Miami)

"Tracking Instructions for DHL

www.dhl.com

Track by Reference
Reference: (Depends on Embassy)
I-730
EXPEDITE NIV SECTION (Maybe Non-Immigrant Visas)
EXPEDITE IV SECTION (Maybe Immigrant Visas)
CORRESPONDENCE

Put the range of dates around the date that NVC gives you as package has been shipped.
And there you have it.

Good luck,

Peter Miami "

So now I know they sent my papers on Friday (confirmed serveral times) and received them on the Monday at the Consulate..............even though they tell me they have not received them yet. History show that London is faster at getting received cases onto the system than they are updating with packet 3.

BTW I found London with "EXPEDITE" reference. kicking.gif kicking.gif kicking.gif
