Fiancee is home with me now! kicking.gif

Her POE was JFK. Was given a temporary work-authorization for 90 days without asking for it...
She was basically asked few questions and then her biometrics was taken.
Immigration/Customs was a breeze otherwise!

I believe at certain times immigration is busy and other times its lean..She got in early in the afternoon at JFK and it was a cake-walk for her...

Congratulations.....very few folks are getting that temp one.

Don't forget, you still need an SSN prior to working and you still need to apply for the more permanent EAD with the AOS package. Hopefully the EAD comes before the first 90 days is up or there may be a slight gap.

i know this sounds a tad gloomy...I'm waiting for the EAD...it will be 3 months since I entered the US on Feb 12, and we filed the AOS in early Dec...so really 3 months from then
