I'm a new member and although I've been poking around this and other sites, I'm still not quite sure whether I have a good enough handle on things. Here's the bullet point version:
  • I am a 36 year old unmarried daughter of an LPR.
  • My mom became a LPR in Dec 2001 and filed an I130 for me in 2002 (receipt dd May 28 2002).
  • She has her naturalization interview today ( dancin5hr.gif )

The only correspondence we've received is a notice of action transferring the I130 petition from the TSC to the California SC in Sept 2006. The noa states a receipt date(2002) and notice date(2006), but no priority date. I realize that I won't see any real movememnt until there is a visa # available and the visa bulletin has 2B visas at 01 Jan 99 but it still seems that we should have received some other correspondence by now. Since the processing dates bulletin says that the CSC is currently at February 7, 2005 for I130 petitions for permanent residents' unmarried sons and daughters over 21 could this mean that my date has changed from 2002 to whenever the case reached the CSC in 2006? blink.gif

I registered with the USCIS online and the only information it has on my case is

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred

I know that once my mom gets naturalized, we can apply to have the I130 status upgraded but I want to make sure that nothing is wrong with the application before that time comes.

Any help or insight will be much approciated.

Hey welcome,

No ur date shouldn't change when ur case gets transfered. I think that once ur mom becomes a citizen things will proly move a little faster
