Does anybody know of this happening only in JFk? helpsmilie.gif and has anybody been given a work authorization there?!
Please enlighten me with some good experiences about it!
thank u wink.gif

It's actually just a stamp that says the person can work for 90 days after entry. After 90 days, it's no longer valid. As far as I know JFK is the only airport using this stamp.

The stamp is good only for as long as the I-94 is... In the case of a K-1 entry that is 90 days... Not sure what visa the alledged 180 day recipient arrived on...

My husband got the 90 day stamp from JFK Dec 20th and didn't have to ask for it. (he doesn't even speak english blush.gif )

I think they give it pretty routine there, but I'm not sure about any other POE

I hear it is kind of hit or miss and only at JFK.I figure, if he gets it great, if he doesn't get it that's okay too. Then we wait, hehe nothing new.....I'll just call it a blessing that he has more time to adjust to a new area!
Earmuffs
someone said they got it at Vancouver air port as well..
Jeraly
Yeah it is only JFK - not sure why - apparently there used to be a few that did it...

Most don't - you will apply for the EAD(I-765) as part of the AOS pkg..look to those guides on VJ for more information on Adjusting Status once you are married
