Hello all!
My brother wants to change the name of his kids before he apply for their citizenship. Both kids are under 18. He wants to remove the third name from his son, my brother wants to change his daughter's last name to his last family name as well instead his first name as her last name.
Please advise with your suggestions.

How long do they have left? It can easily be done for free along with the N-400, but if done separately it's expensive (usually $200-300 per person). So if citizenship is coming up soon, I'd advise changing their names on their N-400s instead.
