hey i got married last year june to usc, we re still in the processing, and am still in canada.i want to file my tax now and it ask for my marital status as at dec. 2007, do i put married/seperate, if i put married does it have any effect on my income tax.

it asks for your marital status before dec31,2007. If you were single.. then put single.. if you were married, then put married.
