Full Version: K1 Fiancee's Customs Duty Free limits?
Does anyone know what a K1 fiancee, obviously a non-resident of the US, is allowed to bring duty free through US Customs first time entering the US? She, K1 fiancee, is bringing approximately $800 - $1,000 worth of leather goods, handbags and belts. Anyone have experience like this?
Is she trying to sell a lot of them or something? That doesn't sound like very much stuff, unless she's bringing in 50 knockoffs or something.

US Citizen fiance and K1 fiancee thinking of starting a business importing leather products. As a US citizen or US resident you can bring $800 worth of goods when traveling overseas. But a nonresident???
