Hi VJers! I would just like to know if the US embassy in Manila would be needing a certified true copy of his divorce decree and birth certificate or just a XEROX copy of the divorce decree and birth certificate would do. Usually divorce decrees consist of several pages, right? So should i just ask him to give me the page where it states the previous marriage has been dissolved?

Would really appreciate your immediate reply.

Thanks so much.

Hi,

I brought with me all the original copies of my husband Divorce Decree,ITR,W-2,BC.during my interview to avoid delays in case they look for it,though we already submitted all the certified and original copies when we filed the K-1.

I brought a certified copy of Joe's divorce decree during the interview and a xerox copy of his passport, although they didnt ask for the latter.

Bring the full originals to the interview. Take them to the CFO too, as they can (and sometimes do) ask for such things.
