I don't think you have to although I have our copy and I am going to scan and send a copy to my OH (USC) just so we both have a record of it smile.gif

You really don't have to because it won't be needed during the interview but I think you need that for AOS.

NO!

Keep it in a safe place because you do need it for AOS....our hard copy got lost in the post and took 6 weeks to arrive! During that time I found out what it takes to get another copy from USCIS; filing another petition, possible 6 months wait, and $340...just for a stupid copy of the letter that you have to turn around and send right back to them! I am guarding that stupid thing with my life now!

Yeah, send a copy if you like but it is not needed until AOS in the States.

Hmmm. good to know. I sent it to Sasha, just in case. But I guess I'll be sure to tell her to keep it very safe. Didnt know we needed it for AOS.

don't send it...keep it in the US...it's needed for AOS. Question-my lawyer has a copy which i was told is the original and they sent me a copy. DOes it matter which one is used for AOS?

I'm not sure but I would ask them for the original anyway. They should only need a copy for their purposes.
