Prince of Ethiopia
I have a bit of an issue. I got my Green Card in July 2007 when I was not 26 yet. I am not sure if I sent in my selective service form (signed up for it). I just turned 26 and thus cannot sign up for it anymore. If the worst is true and I realize that I did not sign up for selective service, how is it going to affect my naturalization process? I have looked through the guides and forms and seems that they require that part. Has anyone been in this situation? I am very nervous about this scenario.

Thanks

If you did not sign up for selective service when you were supposed to, you will be denied citizenship.

Are you basing this on the instructions on the form or do you have any experience with this or know of anyone who had such an experience?

Here are some recent examples that show the level of evidence required to overcome not filing is not trivial.
