Just booked our flight (me and my dog, Dexter) and I'm so excited. kicking.gif kicking.gif
We are moving over March 13th, flying Manchester to Chicago. I decided to treat myself (after all I've been through, figured I deserve it) and have paid the extra for premium economy which means more leg room, extra baggage allowance and a complimentary bar whistling.gif
Tomorrow I call Excess Baggage and arrange the shipping of all my stuff that I'm taking.
Dexter is more or less living in his new vari-kennel I bought for his trip, he loves it. Don't think I will have too many worries about him being in there during the flight.
It's taken a long time(will be over a year from filing the I-129f) but finally in 7 weeks I will be on my way dancin5hr.gif dancin5hr.gif smile.gif

Oh Maggie how exciting!!!! I'm kinda hoping to pay a little extra for some swanky seats but as I am flying over with Jeremy and we have *loads* to pay for when we get out there (and not much money to spare) I don't think I will arrive in quite as much style as you!!! laughing.gif

Congrats, Maggie! We splashed out, too -- we took Silverjet from Luton to Newark (aka the Airport That Hates My Husband). All business class, flat beds, dedicated terminal (no mixing with the EasyJet passengers!) and we didn't need to go through security until about 20 minutes before takeoff. Priceless in terms of relaxation.

Ed -- have a safe flight home to Chelsea! good.gif

Hey there, and good luck for your journey! Me and Jeff decided today that he's going to book flights for the 7th March but it's not been confirmed as yet. Now that everything is more concrete, I've realised how much we have still to do in terms of closing down the house etc... plus, now we have a date (ish!) all my friends are crying down the phone to me! crying.gif
