Hi

I have a question,I am half British and half German and wanted to know what happens when my British passport runs out of date.
Do I get a new one at the embassy here in the US?
Does anybody know the costs?

For my German passport I know that I have to go to Chicago (which is like 10 hours away from me),have to go there in person which is pretty darn annoying.

My mom used to get me my British passport at the British embassy in Germany,so I am guessing its kinda the same here??

Washngton, basically the same, think it was getting on for $200, but very quick.
