wink.gif Filipinos are immigrants. Simply put, we love travelling, adventures & new things. We can thrive anywhere & adjust to anything. If anyone cares to shed some light on their decision to move to USA, please share.
Let me start. I love almost everything american...be it their burgers and barbecues, no nonsense attitude and freedom, diversity of cultures and quality of life. And I fell in love with an american man heart.gif . So, I'm here to stay.

for the people here, I'd say it's to be together with their spouse or soon to be spouse.

For me, I'd say it's to fulfill my ultimate dream, which is to marry the man that God gave me and spend the rest of my life with him (which is now fulfilled). Sorry, I'm too mushy blush.gif

i was processing my papers for canada back then coz my aunt offered me a job and i thought it would mean a lot to do it. but suddenly i think 2 months later i met my husband and visited me in phil and we talked about processing the papers either k1/k3 and i told him that im also processing my papers for canada but he asked me if i could set it aside and gave us a chance lol... so that was it i talked to my family and explained it to them and hopefully they would understand and they did. they met my husband twice in his 2nd and 3rd visit (before we were married) and my grandma adores him. lol... i have a bunch of relatives here too in the US but they're out of state which is im often alone and just hang out with his family/friends... somehow if in the near future we have the opportunity to buy a home in phil it would be great coz we both love phil.
God bless to all!!!

Although I have travelled to different countries, the USA was never on my list. Didnt even try applying for a visa although my 1st profession would have made it easier for me. But then, I met my man and I left everything, family, my successful 2nd profession and the convenience of Philippine culture to be with my husband and he is all worth it. . . I will do it again if I have to because now I can say I am complete and my husband just makes me very very happy everyday. Theres a lot of things to love about America and as long as my husband stays here. . I will be here too.

I just really hate the 800 number because I am sure to be on hold forever whistling.gif

I've been in many countries coz of my previous work and though almost all of my relatives are already in the US still its not on my list. But when I met my husband I left/sacrificed everything for him... im here in US solely because im inlove and he's mine forever, and this is what money cant buy the LOVE and HAPPINESS we have!!!

Why USA? Like your answers, I am inlove with an American. But its not really about USA as a country. He may have been a canadian, australian or even a Filipino. But I just found myself head over heels inlove with an american man. So America will be my home too. He did not steal my heart, I gladly and willingly gave it to him. And happiness is being contented with what you have. AM SO CONTENT and couldn't ask for more...

Like I always tell my man, ANYWHERE WITH HIM IS HOME. heart.gif heart.gif heart.gif heart.gif heart.gif heart.gif heart.gif heart.gif heart.gif

France has always been in my dreams. For years I studied their language.

But why USA?

Only for one reason. Just a reason that branches out to a million of reasons.

luv.gif MY LOVING HUSBAND IS THERE, AND WHEREVER HE WILL BE, I WILL BE WILLING TO SACRIFICE MY DREAM< JUST TO BE WITH HIM. heart.gif
