Well guys I am back!!
I have just gotten an e-mail from CDJ and they told me the same blah blah blah thing about being back logged and that when they have an appt for me they will contact me.
At least I know that I don't have one and I won't be so stressed out.

Awwww! I was looking forward to you finally getting all this mess started so you can move on with your lives. Well at least you know it won't be as long now as it has been. I am sure you will hear something from them soon. That's one thing about our case. I hadn't found this site when we did our first interview or anything so I didn't know I could call and find anything out. I just sat and waited. I think in some ways it was much easier that way.
Well today is Javier's 21st birthday. I gave him his cards this morning and he still hasn't told me what he wants to do. We probably won't do anything until Friday or Saturday so I will keep you all posted. Have a good day today!

Thanks Benita. He is pretty excited about it. I will have to show him later today when we get home. I used to call him my little boy since he is so much younger than me. I told him this morning now I have to start calling him my big man since he's 21 now.

He said, "I was a man when I was 15." Yeah, okay, whatever.
By the way, how is Alex? I hope he isn't in too much pain from having that wisdom tooth yanked yesterday. They cut all mine out at the same time. It was awful. I was out for about 4 days. I couldn't eat real food for about a week or more. I am afraid Javier is going to have to have his cut out. His are coming in frontwards. Just like mine were. Basically, they are pushing all his other teeth together. I don't understand why we even have those teeth anyway.

Everyone, Thanks for asking about Alex, he was in lots of pain last night. He only had one wisdon tooth removed, but it was impacted (came in sideways), so they had a tough time getting it out. He got 2 stiches and has to go back in a week to get them removed.
When we got home, instead of taking his pain med and going straight to bed, he sat on the sofa and watched TV, talked on the phone and talked to his cousin (one of the ones staying with us). So about 8pm he was dying. I told him again to go to bed, he wanted to blame the pain on me because I made him get the tooth removed. I did not sleep well last night because I wanted to make sure he took his medicine so that he would not be in anymore pain.
He is doing ok this morning, pain is minimal and thankfully he is staying in bed. So hopefully when I get home he will be in a lot better mood than yesterday.
Elvia: He does not work right now, remember he came in on that I-129 as a K-3 visa, so we had to apply for EAD and AOS. Waiting for permission to work (should take about 90 days).

I know you want me to give him a kiss and tell him something but I don't know what. I have a hard time with pronouns. They confuse me. We went over them a little in class but I am still not sure of them. I need to learn how to use those and how to use que. I am not sure how to use that one either. I have a lot of work to do by December. ¿Seré jamás yo capaz de aprenderlo?

The problem is we watch it all the time. I can't understand them so I just tune it out. I only pay attention if it is something that I am interested in. Then I am asking Javier to tell me what they said. It's just a big mess. I really feel like I am stupid. I mean, not trying to make myself look good, but I am an intelligent person. I see, again not trying to be ugly or anything, less intelligent people speaking spanish. I wonder what my problem is. Why can't I get it? I really think there is something in my brain that prevents me from being able to speak spanish.

I wanted to be like Charity.....you notice my tickers????

Copycat!

Actually I don't mind at all. I had the ticker for Javier coming home and I felt a little bare after he got here without one. We have lots of things happening these couple of months so I thought I would make me some tickers. I was going to make the one for our anniversary after my birthday but I would have only had it for a few days and then it would have been over. After our anniversary I will be tickerless again.

By the way, it doesn't count the actual day as a day so that is why Javier's was off on his birthday. Mine is off too, as is our anniversary one.
I didn't know it was that soon till your anniversary. Do you have any special plans for it or Emily's second birthday?
chagalafamilia

We are not planning anything. I guess we will go out to dinner, but nothing special.
Not sure about Emily's birthday, probably just dinner with family.

That sounds good. We didn't really do anything extra special for our anniversary last year. We went to Bike week in Myrtle Beach with my mom and dad. We probably won't do anything this year unless we go on a long weekend trip somewhere. My parents and my brother's family are going to Disney in July and they want us to go with them. I guess we are going to try and do that. Only if Javier finds some extra work to do. That will probably be our anniversary present to each other.

hola girls......
okay so I got the scare of my life yesterday and it kept me a busy bee. I got my medical records copied from the hospital and the girl called me and told me that it would be $191

I was like WHAT??? for medical records?? So we kept going back and forth on the phone and then I got the call at about 4.45pm saying that they were going to charge me $25 for man power!!!! sheesh... drama drama drama!!
Stephanie... You are burried in snow again? Gosh I can't believe that, it is almost spring! Maybe you should rethink the boot thing...
Charity and Benita how are you guys doing?
chagalafamilia
Mar 16 2006, 09:49 AM
Thank goodness no snow here. Although we can not rule out it happening again before spring. Sometimes we get snow on Easter and even in May with the Kentucky Derby.
Elvia: Sounds like a rip off. I would require documentation before I would pay a bill like that.
By the way I am fine, Alex is much better, but his face is swollen, looks like he got into a boxing match. I hopt that goes away before Tuesday. We got the letter for his USCIS biometrics and it says to make sure you don't have open wounds, bandages or casts when you appear or it may be rescheduled. I guess I have to take it easy on him until after Tuesday.
Charity: Still no plans for the anniversary. Wish I was rich. Then it would be easy to make plans.
Bootylicious
Mar 16 2006, 10:15 AM
Benita: Yeah right. I say the same thing. I don't know why I wasn't blessed in the money dept. Javier tells me one day we will be rich. If it's up to him we will be. He hates not having money to do anything with. I told him we would be if it weren't for all this immigration stuff.
Elvia: I can't believe they wanted to charge you that much just for your records. What a crock. Javier and I are fine. His dad came over last night with supper and beer. It was pretty good. Plus he gave Javier $50. He has been wanting some Nike Shock tennis shoes so I told him to keep the money so he could put it toward that. They are about $100. I know him, he would have wanted to pay a bill with it and I don't think he should use his birthday money for that. So anyway, Javier had 3 beers and some red wine. I was afraid he was going to be sick but he wasn't. Thank goodness because I so did not want to have to clean that up. ICK!! I think we are going to go out on Friday or Saturday so that should be nice.

Yeah…boots. Hmmmm. I really don’t like them much because then you need to bring other shoes with you. Some things just seem too difficult. However that would combat the wet sock issue I am currently dealing with.
On Sunday/Monday it snowed 10.5 inches and last night/today it snowed/is snowing about 5. But since it is spring some of that 10.5 from before has melted, thankfully. It is the real light and fluffy stuff and I feel bad for the trees…all their branches are sagging. They need a boob lift.
Benita…that is crazy about Alex. I hope he feels better and the swelling goes down by Tuesday. Good luck at that appt. What exactly happens at that appointment? Is it a medical exam?
o.k. chicas. Have a great day.
Oh and Eliva….that is crazy they charged you AT ALL. You are the patient and should be able to get copies of your records for free. Before paying anything, you might want to check into what their policy is about record release. I know at my job we order a lot of medical records all the time and we have to pay but often the client gets their own records and it is free. I am sure it is different from state to state and clinic to clinic but definitely don’t pay no stinking $191.

Little joke, just one of those that gives you a little HA HA. Not a roll in the floor kind.
A nice, calm and respectable lady went into the pharmacy, right up to the
pharmacist, looked straight into his eyes, and said, "I would like to buy
some cyanide."
The pharmacist asked, "Why in the world do you need cyanide?"
The lady replied, "I need it to poison my husband."
The pharmacist's eyes got big and he exclaimed, "Lord have mercy! I can't
give you cyanide to kill your husband! That's against the law! I'll lose my
license! They'll throw both of us in jail! All kinds of bad things will
happen. Absolutely not! You CANNOT have any cyanide!"
The lady reached into her purse and pulled out a picture of her husband in
bed with the pharmacist's wife.
The pharmacist looked at the picture and replied, "Well now. That's
different. You didn't tell me you had a prescription."

It probably won't happen until Javier starts his second job. He does rock work and other little jobs on the weekends to make extra money. He has a job coming up in April. Javier told me today he wants to pay a bill with his money. I knew that's what he would want to do with it. I told him he had to buy something for himself. We don't really have any night clubs or anything around here. It's too small of a town. I just got off the phone with Melissa. She is fine. She still hasn't heard anything about their papers. I really wish she would hear something soon. I hate she has to keep waiting and waiting. She has a job interview on Monday, I think. She has put in another application somewhere else. Unfortunately, I don't think we are going to be able to do the Disney thing. We are going over to a new system at work July 1st and I don't think they are going to let me take the time off. It would be at the end of July but I guess they are trying to be cautious. We will just have to do the long weekend thing. I really want him to go ahead and get the shoes. He has been wanting them since before he went to Mexico. I really want him to just go ahead and get them so he won't talk about them all the time.

We have no budget for anything. Are you crazy? We spend money as fast as we make it. That's the problem. I still don't know how we are going to pay for the Mexico trip we are taking in December. I checked airline tickets yesterday and all the straight thru flights are booked. We are going to have to get the tickets sooner than I thought. I don't know how we are going to pay for them. THANKS FOR THE CONGRATULATIONS.
Yes, the Dr. said it was the trip to CDJ. Guess we came back with more than a VISA.
I just went today, it is funny, I thought I was all screwed up and just skipped the February one, I even tested 3 times the week of the 14th and all were negative. The only reason I tested again (Saturday) was because I have a dentist appointment on Monday and wanted to make sure before they did any x-rays. I was shocked, Alex was sure that I was pre-menopausal. He was probably going to have his mom send up some funky herbs.
So the Dr. is guessing 9-10 weeks, I go back in 2 weeks for an US to determine how far. I will not be comfortable until I know everything is OK. I don't think I will be able to relax until I am past the 13 week mark. (I had a miscarriage before Emily and I was 12 weeks).

It's all from immigration and my trips to Mexico to see Javier. It's not like we buy things with the credit card just to buy them. Anyway, he will be getting about $4-5 thousand dollars when he does this job in April and then he has another rock job that he will start after he finishes this job.
