Not a darn thing. Just working. Trying to look busy. I have exhausted that effort. I am really ready to go home. It is to nice outside here today to be stuck in this building. I want to be out enjoying the pretty weather. It's not all that warm outside but the sun is brightly shining. It is absolutely beautiful. I am thinking I will hang out with my neice and nephews later. They should be outside playing when I get home. Javier will probably try to find some kind of sprucing up to do outside. He is always finding something to do. I may make him go out and help my cousin's husband on their house. They are building a deck and I think it would be nice for Javier to offer his help.

I am doing some one else's job and eventhough I have already told her that I would like her to start doing her own she refuses and then my boss tells me to go ahead and do it That makes me mad. I have been doing some of her stuff non-stop all day while she gets to go home and re-arrange her new house that she closed on last Friday. I would just rather go home myself

Hey all.

Kind of busy today. Went to the dentist, which I absolutely hate. But my mom has guilted me for life into taking care of my teeth (which I DO want to do) since my grandma paid for my braces. So even though the smell of dentists office makes my stomach turn, I am diligently there every year. How mom’s have such power over us….and she lives fricken 1500+ miles away!

Stephanie: How true. My mom lives about 50 yards from my house so she has a big influence over me. I try not to let her but it still happens from time to time. We are really close so it isn't so much like mom telling me what to do. It's more like friendly advise.

Elvia: Sorry you are doing someone else's job. I know how that is. We have a new cashier and she hasn't quite caught on yet either. I end up doing twice as much work most of the time. It's really aggravating.

I am home today. I have to go to the doctor at 10 for my yearly physical. ICK!!! I am not sure if I am going to work afterwards or not. It just depends on when I get out of the doctor. If I don't get to work I will still try to pop in at home.

I had the haircutter do a few bangs and yesterday they looked o.k. (cuz I didn’t wash the hair after she styled it) but today is a whole other story. My bangs need to go to “bang bootcamp”.

Benita, how are you feeling today? Still sick? Hope not. I know what you mean about not being able to stop in much at work. I can’t really either. I always type my stuff in word (looks like I am working) and then cut and paste it into the reply. Hard living on the edge. Ha, ha.

Stephanie: Everything went well this morning. No issues or anything which is good. I decided to come onto work since it wasn't that late when I got out. That cutting and pasting thing is a really good idea. Very smart. So when are the bangs off to bootcamp?

Glad everything went a.o.k. at the doctor. A clean bill of health is what we want to hear. The bangs are currently in bootcamp. I’ll let you know if they pass.

Sounds good to me. Maybe you could let me know what to do in case I need to put mine in bootcamp. They are currently right about the tip of my nose, not quite long enough to go behind my ear, but long enough to be annoying. I want to grow them out some more but they are killing me.

Stephanie: Feeling a little better today, maybe the closer to the second trimester the better I will feel.

Charity: Can you say "Head Bands". That is the only way I ever got through that horrible period when they are too short to go behind the ear. Or you could try some "Aqua Net" hair spray, if they still make it. Punish them and maybe they will stay out of your way.

Benita: The rest of my hair is to short for a head band. I would love to be able to do that. I think my hair stylist has something different in mind for my bangs than I do. I mentioned, the last time I was there, that I couldn't wait for them to be long enough to put behind my ear and he said something like, you "think" they are going to get that long, huh. Kinda in a smart tone. I am not exactly sure what he meant by that. I don't think they are going to get that long, I know they are.

I have been here at work today but a girl in the shelter who came in yesterday is filthy with 4 kids.... and I mean like homeless filthy and I have been with her all morning giving her an orientation and telling her that her hygine needs to be kept up. YUCK!!! and I think she also has lice but I will make sure of that tomorrow.

Stephanie. so far nothing has changed.... well except the fact that the car is still not running good so I will be playing mechanic again this weekend and I think we will be tackling the fuel pump. Now it will not be an easy task because the fuel pump is in the tank and to get to the tank and get it to where we can work on it, we will have to pull the rear seat out and do some stuff in the car oh joy!!! okay I will go tackle my piojosa lady now..... see ya later

yes!!! and the bad thing about it is that we are full.... there are 9 rooms full of women and children and they would all have to get treated....

Elvia: Benita wanted me to see if you knew how to make barbacoa. She wants to make some tomorrow for Emily's party. I tried to find a recipe on the internet for her but couldn't find anything like what she wanted. Thank you!

First you need a goat. Then you need to kill it. Then you put some spices on it and put it in a hole in the ground for like 8 hours. hahahah Seriously that's how I've seen barbacoa made. My husband's uncle makes REALLY good barbacoa.

I'll look for a recipe and post it if I find one.

Elvia: Sounds good to me. I think I have found a solution to our plane ticket nightmare also. If we change the date just a little, the tickets go down to about half of the price I thought they were going to be. Now I just have to convince Javier to change the dates.

1st -Charity, SORRY I did not call you back. But it was a weekend I wish I could forget. Being pregnant gave me brain fog, but I can not get out of my head how hard it was to move. I would rather be shot in the foot than to do that again anytime soon.

2nd- Stephanie, Thanks for the recipe. I will use it just not sure when. I am not sure about using all the ingrediants. I don't remember them having allspice berries or using that much oregano. And they definatley did not use the avocado leaves. They simmered it on the fire, as they do not have a stove. And they used pork, not goat or lamb. Alex does not like goat or sheep.

3rd - Ashley, Alex does that same pose for photos. Like he has to show ownership. He throws that arm around my shoulders as well.

4th - The Dr. appointment and U/S went well, there are arm and leg nubs and we got to see the heartbeat.
However they changed the due date to November 6th. So how I got pregnant I am not sure (Well....you know what I mean ). I had a period on Jan 5th and then nothing since. So that egg just hung on for dear life I guess. there are arm and leg nubs and we got to see the heartbeat.

I am feeling a little better. Not out of the woods yet, but hopefully, I will be soon. It will just take some time. Why can't life just be easy?

Melissa is good. We are planning a trip for her to come visit me. I can't take any time off from work to visit her so she is coming here. Now I am trying to make plans for us while she is here. There aren't very many things to do here so it will be a challenge. Plus, I have to get my house clean. ICK!

I am with ya on the “why can’t life be easy” track. It is definitely full of roller coasters. I’d like it to have a few merry-go-rounds right now. Something easy, soothing and able to eat an ice cream cone on.

Mnmex: Thanks for that lovely thought......now I may be sick. Funny that probably would not have bothered me before, but now going in circles and eating anything is not appealing at all. Last night I went to get take out chinese for Alex and they had a stupid train going around in circles above a coy pond. Made me sick as well. I can not wait to get past this phase of the pregnancy.

I am trying to make an instruction sheet for Alex's cousin who just got his first apartment. I want to tell him that he has to mail his money order at least 5 days before the 1st of the month. Can someone "Elvia" tell me how to write this properly????
