I have heard of that. I am not sure what you do to take care of that. I could ask around, do some research for you if you like. Javier and I have this little joke. He says, you think you know, and I say, I don't think I know, I know I know. The other day we were some where and I told him something and it was wrong. I told him to write it down because it might not happen again. I think it's pretty funny, he doesn't find it nearly as amusing as me. I don't know if Raul is this way or not, does he like to think he is the "boss" of the house. Javier does, so I always give him a hard time about that too. If I make a decision about something, not to big, without asking him, he says, who told you that was okay. I say, the boss did. He says, I didn't say it was okay, to which I say, no I did because I am the boss. He doesn't like that very much at all. I like to give him a hard time.

If the magistrate or judge makes a finding that there are grounds for dismissal, the finding shall be entered on the record and the infraction or misdemeanor dismissed.

Sounds like she has to get someone to dismiss it. You may have known this already. I don't know how far into researching it you have gotten.

Jr. is doing fine...making mommy really sick, but at least then I know everything is ok. I was actually worried last night when I realized that I had not felt ill for about 2 hours. Then of course it hit me again. With Emily it was just "Morning" sickness, with this baby it is "Morning-noon-night" sickness.
I go to the dr on Monday for the first u/s, only because they want to make sure on the projected due date. Though I told her there is only a small window when this could have happened, (in CDJ). The dr said I am a late ovulator, I was due to have a period on Feb 2nd and nothing.

So I talked to Melissa last night. They still haven't heard anything about the Advisory Opinion and she is getting pretty upset about it. She is about to give up on the whole process. It might help for some of us to let her know we are thinking about her and that we are still here for her. She had another job interview and it looks pretty good for her. I hope she gets something soon.

Stephanie: How long is your hair now? I am trying to grow mine out. It was really short and is just now getting some length on it. I hope it is grown out by the holidays so I can have a nice do at Christmas. Javier didn't have his ITIN number memorized but his new social is really easy. I have is memorized already. Thank goodness it finally came.

It isn’t super long, a little past my shoulders. I used to have it really long and cut it off for Wigs for Kids. I am thinking more of getting bangs. Those skinny girls in Hollywood always have such cute bangs. Though I am sure a lot has to do with their personal hairstyler, something I do not have.

Are you able to get into I2US? Everytime I try it says “critical error”.

Yea, Javier's is repetitious too. Pretty easy to memorize. Thank goodness, my brain can't handle complex number patterns anymore. I am trying to grow my bangs out as my hair grows out. They are almost behind my ear now. They are the same length as my shortest layer. My ex, a hair stylist, used to say bangs were just to cover wrinkles. They are cute on some people but my cow-lick in the front really messes with my bangs. It's just not pretty. I want to try and get my hair down a little below my shoulders. It hasn't bee that long in a long time. It was about my shoulders when I got it cut the last time. It was all one length though and just hung there. This time I have a new hair stylist and I hope he can give me some layered style. I got on I2US but I can't find anything from Marta. Where did Elvia get that quote? I went back to find it and I couldn't locate where she posted it. I didn't find it in the same thread Elvia posted in. Maybe I am just missing it.

I am not sure about the bang thing either. My hair is super thick so I was thinking it might help out. If I put it up for the day it is still wet when I go to bed. When I had it real long I used to clip it up somehow but always had a headache from pulling it too tight and then would dig the clip into my head because I have too much hair it would never hold. And then one day I was like screw this, put it in braids and went to the gal who cuts my hair. When she cut off the first braid I felt time stop and then everyone started staring. After I cut them off I kinda wanted to keep the braids but, really, what would I have done with them? I had it like chin length for the past few years and then took the plunge again. I don’t think I’ll grow it as long this time.

Someday if I figure out how to post photos I’ll post one of us.

Yea, I think you are the only one we don't know what you look like. Everyone else has posted a picture at some point. I still have issues with posting pictures. I make them huge and then can't get them smaller. It's a mess. I didn't find the post in the I-601 thread. How am I missing it? I saw her post some things but I didn't see that statement. Okay, I have to go back and investigate. I think it is awesome you donated your hair. Your hair sounds like mine. It would still be wet too if I put it up and left it all day. It is a lot thinner now than it was when I was younger though. I have a tough time trying to find clips for my hair. None of them want to stay in. It's really aggravating. You should find one of those programs where you can put your face with lots of different hair dos. See if you like the bangs look.

We found out the sex when I was pregnant with Emily, but I think we want this one to be a surprise. The only problem is other people driving you crazy wanting to know what you are having. The dr. said to just tell them that the tech could not give a positive answer. Suposedly Alex does not care if it is a boy or girl, but I know down deep he wants a boy. I know Emily has him wrapped around her little finger, so that is probably what made him decide that having a girl was not such a bad thing.

Benita: What's up with all the questions from other people? When you start dating they ask when you are getting married. When you get married they ask when you are having kids. When you have kids they ask you what sex it's going to be. It's like they can never just be happy for you. I get really tired of hearing the, when are you going to have kids question. Hello all! I just talked to Melissa and she got the job. She signed a contract this morning. It sounds like a really awesome job. She starts on Monday so maybe she will be around more after that. I guess it depends on how busy she is to begin with. I asked her if they had anymore openings. They do but I don't think Javier would want to move to Maryland.

Hope everyone else is doing okay this morning.

What kind of job is it?

It is a catering company. She is the assistant controller. She said the hours are 9-5. I asked her about lunch and she said they provide lunch for you. She also has the opportunity to work the events where she gets paid just for doing that. It sounds like she has really gotten a great job. I hope she likes it. She said the only thing she wasn't crazy about is she has to dress up. No wearing blue jeans to work.

Wow, that is great!! I know about the dressing up thing. It sucks. We can only wear blue jeans and tennies to work on Fridays. Rest of the week I got to wear uncomfortable clothes and shoes. I don’t understand why, I sit in an office all day. At least nylons aren’t required in summer and open toed shoes and sandals (flip flops on Fridays) are o.k. I work for pretty cool people too.

She starts on Monday. She is still doing the temp thing until Friday. She said she had some things there that had to be taken care of.

We can wear just about anything we want. I wear jeans almost every day. I only dress up when I want to. It's so nice. We can't wear shorts, of course, and we aren't supposed to wear shirts with logos or writing on them, but we all do. In the summer, I wear sandals or flip flops every day and capri pants or skirts, but not uncomfortable skirts. When I worked in the bank, we had to wear pantyhose, even in the summer. We couldn't wear sandals or open toed shoes. We even had restrictions on what color of nail polish we could wear. It was horrendous. I am so glad I can wear what I want to now. I don't even own any nice clothes. I had some, but when I lost all that weight while Javier was gone, now they are all too big. I really need to buy some more, I had to wear pants to church Sunday because I didn't have a skirt to wear. At least it is a legitimate reason to go shopping.

hola girls..... I have been in the office since 8 but we have been having so much fun here in the office that I had not had the time to say hi to y'all... The executive director is trying to loose some weight and she brought in her hula hoop which is about 4 ft wide and has weights on it. we have all been trying it and making fun of ourselves it was too funny

Elvia: I wish I had a picture of that! I can't even hula with a regular hula hoop much less with one that has weights on it. That would be hard. I could see how it would give you a workout though.
