Good morning!
Hugs to 0, and congrats to P.
I think more job hunting is in order for us today. My husband is relentless in his search. I keep reminding him he needs to focus on the AOS forms...the sooner, the better. Men never listen.
I wish your husband well with his job search Naggie, I think he is ready to hit the ground running which is a good thing!!!!!!! Good luck with getting the AOS forms together

Thank you! So far, there is no work to be found, despite the many, many aqpplications / resumes he has sent out.

the AOS is going to be a nightmare....I don't understand it all.
All I can do is keep praying.

I remember that part also.....applications and resumes, my husband was sending them before he arrived on US soil....what was funny was that I would have to tell people that were calling for him, he has not arrived yet but I am expecting him on this date. I think when he saw how things were he decided he would immediately start schooling because he always was interested in computers. My thoughts were that the AOS was a much easier process than filing for the visa. Just make sure to double check your forms !!!!!!! I did it with the help of VJ and the samples they gave for filling the forms.

Don't stress about the AOS. I put it off for a little while cause I thought I didn't want to deal with another round of USCIS paperwork. But this part the paperwork is much easier than the original petition and all the visa forms. In fact, most of the information is on all those previous forms, so you just need to transfer quite a bit of it over. I think the hardest part for me was that it was so much simpler that I felt certain I had missed something. So, I quadruple checked it before I mailed it out. I was surprised how quickly it came together.

Happy Friday Everyone

Could not come soon enough, I hope the weekend goes by slowly. I have a funny story to tell about my husband...he is currently taking 5 courses at college and when he leaves for school (for class or even just to study), he takes 4 backpacks with him
I told him that people might think that he has afew screw's loose or that he carries all of his life belongings with him

It is alittle funny seeing him carry that many, but I guess if it makes things easier for him, then so be it.

A man with a plan ........he means business. It's all good though ! Just send him to a massage therapist when his shoulders and back start screaming from all the weight of the books. Try bags on rollers. Seriuosly though, it can do a lot of damage, I see it in my clients
and school children.
But you can be proud of his ambitions and dedication

Morning everyone!
We are starting to prepare my husband's I-751 (Removal of Conditions). Perhaps it should be stated that
I am preparing.

He's stuyding for a test on Monday. When everything is said and done, we are yet again spending 'mo money, 'mo money, 'mo money! Oh well .... in all things - God is still good.
Have a wonderful Saturday.

ZeeNusah,
Please forgive my over site of your wedding photos. This morning I started 'catching up' on threads and came across your photos. You originally posted your thread during a time in which I was not doing well. So I guess I did not really pay it (or anything else) much attention. But .... you were indeed a beautiful bride. I love the orange head wraps.

I went to the Festival of Nations today in my area and had a lot of Nigerian food and some Carribean coconut cake.
I bought a pretty blue traditional dress from an African vendor.
Thinking about heading back there later..........got to eat some more .......

sick and tired of going everywhere alone though and wish my honey
would be with me.
The African dance group was performing just as I got there.
Time for some German potatoe pancakes with apple sauce............yummy
