Convention was GREAT!!!!!!
LL I was not throwing it in your face,
just trying to keep you included in the festivities 
ANYWHO, I called LL on the phone when Obama came out and she could hear him over the phone!!
I had a fab time!!!! It was WONDERFUL!!! VOTE VOTE VOTE everyone!!

I called P while she was there and heard the crowd roar but I was having a personal crisis at the time and didn't care

Ramadan Mubarak! Happy Ramadan to all our muslim brothers and sisters!!
Bassi has begun fasting and found it to be a bit harder here than at home. The time difference kicks butt!! But he's adjusting. I surprised him with dates and he was so excited. It's so nice to see him happy. I mean like I did something that made him feel so happy. I feel the same way when I make my baby girl happy. But it doesn't take much with her, since she's six. I know it's all down hill from here.

Traditionallly Muslims break their fast with dates and water, then they go and pray and then come back to really dig in. I am not a big fan of the dates here (spoiled from my days in Saudi ) and my hubby does not ask, so I did not bother.
