Afternoon . I am amazed about burial preparations in Nigeria. They have been meeting all weekend and haven't settled on a date yet. They are talking Oct or Nov or Dec or even Jan. It is certainly more complicated than anything here. Being the oldest son Joseph has been terribly busy with all of the arrangements. And so expensive compared to here especially when you factor in the difference in income.

I am typing this as I sit here cuddling the sweetest baby boy in the whole wide world!!! He is staring at me with pure wide trusting eyes that say, I feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My son is a month old and weighs 5lbs 7oz. He came into my life Thursday, Aug 21st. He has stolen my heart like no one ever has, and I am totally and unconditionally in love with him. It was truly God how we were brought together. I will share that story another time.
I just wanted to send notice that my house and heart is now filled with the pitter patter of little feet. Well in his case, since he can't walk it's filled with dirty diapers!!!!!

True Story from Houston Medical Center

A man went to the hospital to have his wedding ring cut off from his Peepee.

According to the Nurse attending, the patient's girl friend found the Ring in his pants pocket and she got so mad at him, she used Petroleum Jelly to slip the ring on his Peepee while he was asleep.

I don't know what's worse:

1) Having your girl friend find out you're married.
2) Explaining to your wife how your wedding ring got on your peepee
3) Or finding out your hoohoo fits through your wedding ring

Yeah, Booker's case was about to go through Ivory Coast, but the embassy in Liberia opened up at the last minute so we didn't have to go through IC after all. Anyway, I never was able to find any info or reviews on the IC embassy so I have no clue as to how things are through that embassy.

Hello Everyone,

I have not been here in a while. For the first time in my life I had a very close love one to pass away. Her death was unexpected, and very sudden. She was also young. For a while staying in the bed was my biggest comfort. But with the help of my husband, and many other friends and relatives I am starting to realize that life must go on. In the midst of it all, I try to focus on the fact that God makes no mistakes. Even when it hurts like crazy, He knows what he is doing.

Chispas - just want to give you a public recognition ... having a cheescake delivered to the house was so awesome. Although you are across the country from us, you are indeed a true friend, and a wonderful sister in Christ. May God always bless you in abundance.

Everyone - congratulations to anyone whose approvals I may have missed. For those who are still waiting on approvals, hang tough and keep believing.

You have been missed. I'm so sorry to hear about your pain. It's one of the harder things to deal with in life. Thank God you have people around you to hold you close while you cry. It's healthy to take time to puddle in the pain and then take baby steps to move on. I wish you only the best and hope that you come through this soon.
